Well had my scan at 11. Consultant told me they are looking at the resistance to blood flow through arteries and look for a figure of 0.65 or less although ive read it as 0.58, my hospital obviously uses different figures to the research ive read.

Anyway my number came in as 0.57 so normal though only just. Glad am taking aspirin then as it seems to be helping. Also got to see Awen though she was fast asleep and got a couple of free piccies. Consultant did say these are new things though and they dont change management based on the figures yet though they may do in future.

They wont do any more dopplers though apparently so im booked for a growth scan at 28 weeks on 5th Jan. Weight today was about 1lb 7.2oz though allowing for error the weight range shes in is 1lb 1.4oz-1lb 12.9oz.

What was their reason for not doing any more dopplers? Surely if your that close to being abnormal they should check again for you in a couple of weeks!

Lol No Suse! I am meant to be having another doppler in 2 weeks between this one and the jan one but looks like radioloogy won the pissing contest so wont be getting it so of the 3 im meant to have i got 1. Just gonna stick to the aspirin and keeping an eye on movements, bp, pee testing etc til then i guess. Id have preferred a 2nd doppler with being borderline normal (my OH would prob say im borderline normal anyway without being pg lol) but looks like im not gonna get my wish

Was sitting at 150/80 and pulse 110 yesterday with 1+ protein but down to trace protein, 140/70 and pulse 100 today so slightly better. Got cardiology, gp and midwife next week so lots of appointments to be prodded at anyway!

Oh FFS!!!!!!! Grrrr they are frigging useless!!!! Especially with all the problems you've been having!!!!!!

Glad all was "well" anyway, how are you feeling about things now care-wise? You know your stuff m'lady - I'm sure you can kick them into touch (metaphorically only ) - as and when needed.
I have no idea re.weights etc. and never did with bean - is it only if you've been having any extra monitoring or measuring big on tummy tape?! (was "28" last appt so all good apparently - not that they go out of their way to explain things to you, I had to google it as couldn't remember what that meant or whether it was cm or inch! )
