Washing up _
PostSubject: Washing up   Washing up EmptyFri Aug 27, 2010 7:16 am

Do u use a sponge or a cloth?
Reason being is that i HATE cloths, i only use them to wipe down the surfaces and i have a bit of a sponge fetish hehe. But seriously cloths smell and you cant do a decent scrub!
Any way sorry for the random post but just wondered Smile

i use a cloth and a sponge/soft scourer. the cloth for non messy plates and cups, and the soft scourer thing for stuff thats set/dried ie sauce, cheese etc thats tough to get off. although i agree that cloths stink after a day or 2 and need to be binned xx

I use non scratch scourers for the dishes and pans then a cloth for glasses. Then another cloth for the surfaces - although when OH does the cooking I sometimes need a scourer Laughing Laughing
I usually soak them all in a little bleach every night then after a few days they go in the bin xxx I also have been known to wash the dishcloths and yellow dusters in the washing machine x

I hate cloths as well I have about 30 sponges in the cupboard under the sink! I also use the spine on the end of a stick thing, the one you can pit washing up liquid in!
I have to makesure all food etc is rinsed off before I clean the dishes as well!

My mums staying with me ATM and she just bungs everything in regardless, the water ends up minging and I end up washing it all again coz it's not done properly! Lol
