sorry about your nan Leanne xx you don't have to be great with words just put something together from the heart, or alternatively find a nice poem or reading online, there's bound to be something that'll be perfect.

Do you want to read out stuff about her Leanne?
If its a piece you want to read i know a beautiful one:

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Or

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
Or otherwise id say sit and think of her with a pen and paper and write about the things that come to your mind

Im very sorry for your loss xxx

Thanks ladies, I've written this from the heart. Is it ok?

To my dear Nana,

I still can’t believe you’re not here anymore, I just can’t imagine never seeing you again. I can still hear your voice but I’m scared I’ll forget the sound.

Glenn always says that you, mum and I are the same person, like peas in a pod. That makes me so proud! You were the least selfish person I have known, would never let anyone do anything for you, worried you were putting us all out. You could never put us out Nan!

Every memory I have is a happy one, like when you’d try and tell us a funny story but it would take so long for you to tell as you’d be crying with laughter! You used to laugh with no sound!

Also when we were young and would sleep over, you only ever used blankets, never a quilt and we had about 20 on us and be tucked in so tight that we couldn’t move! Well you didn’t want us to get cold.

Thank you for being you, for loving us all unconditionally. For caring for granddad so we’ll for so long, we’ll make sure he’s ok from now on.

Rest now Nan, you have given more than enough.

Sleep tight, I’ll never stop loving you.

From Leebelees
