Banda is organising its own Big Toddle for June 2011.

We now have a date and a venue! The date is Sunday 26th June and the Venue is Manor Farm in Loughborough, here's their website http://www.manorfarm.info/default.asp
The actual sponsored walk part will be using their nature trail http://www.manorfarm.info/naturetrail.asp

Hopefully its a good place for every to get to - its very close to the M1 so should be ideal for anyone

11th june is bens birthday and we were planning a wee hioliday around then so i put then and the end of the month too. just in case finances are tighter than expected

I've put 5th as we're away the first week in July and it's my daughters 21st on 3rd of July so the as it's gets near the end of June I'll be really busy

The 2 locations I'm looking at (and waiting to hear back from) are Nottingham and Warwick. These are quite central...what do folk think of these for a location?

I had a look at Brum and couldn't find anywhere that had what we need, but I'll keep looking!

from me to Warwick is 2+1/4 hours, Nottingham 2+3/4 hours !!

Perhaps we should map where the ones that want to do it are and centralise from their! Ie if no one from scotty wants to do it we drop down a bit I'm not sure on geographic locations.

I think the scots girls are looking at their own i know laura i think is doing the glasgow one. Its gonna be hard for those girls to travel that far

The end of the month is better for me because my niece's birthday is the 8th so not sure which weekend will be her party but Wil will be guest of honour (Charlotte loves Wil )

Either location is fine with me too, both are an hour or so away.

oh and could lily-ann join in, she can take a couple of steps if helped/held up...not quite toddling but if lewis was joining in i wouldn't want her left out

I've edited the poll - as realised what some of the Sundays in June were - a venue has said that the 5th and 19th will be very busy (end of half term and then Fathers Day)

So really that leaves the 12th which wasn't very popular so far in the poll...and the 26th which was quite popular in the poll - unfortunately the 'better' of the 2 locations has alot of staff on holiday that day due to a staff wedding - so although they haven't said No I'm not sure its a good idea.

Well the farm who originally agreed to host us have now backed out saying that we wouldnt be allowed to do a sponsored walk on their farm! Charming!

So waiting for another farm to reply now!

Lisa. If we are stuck for a venue the country park where I live in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire might be an option. They do loads of events and I am sure we would be able to do there.
