Ok - I'm looking for a lightweight buggy for Ellie.

My oh said that Maclaren Techno XLR Travel System gets a good write up on Which!

But I just wondered if you ladies could recommend one?

I can pay up to £200 and need it to have a shopping basket on it and I also want it to look nice.

I suppose it would also be good if Ellie was comfy in it too Very Happy

I have the Silvercross Pop Vogue, it's nice and light and really easy to fold up, the basket fits a fair bit in when the seat is upright, the negatives for me are that the brakes are rubbish and I can't click it on on one side, I have to engage the brake on both sides before it works, other than that it's good. this is the one I have

We have the SC Pop..can't really fault it other than the breaks are naff at going down quite deep kerbs.
But it folds up one handed, comfy, has quite a long extendible calf support for LO, reclines fully, sun visor on hood, fair sized basket too. And comes in some looooovely colours. I love the red one and the blue one. I'm boring and just have the jet sport one Very Happy

I'd give it 9/10

I have a Chicco Winter in dark navy and black, its less than some of the others at £60 which includes a rain cover and footmuff, and has the same things, cant really fault it so far as far as strollers go

Maclaren is a really good pushchair i almost bought it but I LOVE my Bruin petite star Zia, i'm so glad I went for that in the end, I don't really have anything bad to say about it.

It folds so small, it's really handy and although the basket looks small you fit a lot in it.

I have a maclaren Techno XT - one step down from the one you're OH was looking at. I love it, it's fab. The only fault I have with it is that you can't fit much underneath it but you can hang things on the back with a toddler sat in as it's really stable. I have a silver one and it has loads of reflective strips on it and on the wheels which look really smart. You can also buy comfort packs and liners to jazz it up a bit. It doesn't fold up to be really small but it'll be smaller than the XLR.

Amelia loves hers and is very comfy in it. It lies completley flat and you can extend the seat out to give more support for her legs. x
