Argh!

I am going on a girls night out on 5th Feb and none of my pre pregnancy clothes fit me! I am not prepared to buy anything new, as I know full well I will get into them soon enough.

I have four weeks and need to lose a stone (although I know that is probably not a healthy weight to lose, so even if I can shift 2lb a week then I am half way there!)

Has anybody got any tips... i.e fitness games to play on computer, food to eat, etc. (im new to this scratch )

I lost 9lbs in 4 weeks just before xmas, by following weight watchers.
I ate fruit if i wanted to snack and had healthy meals and smaller portion sizes, also drank atleast 2 ltrs a day.
The only exercise i did was playing on the dance central game on kinect and tbh i didn't do it that often. because of that i actually think i could have lost more if i'd have tried harder with the exercise!

Don't go too mad tho hun, you have just had a baby! x

Drink loads of water, don't drink any alcohol, and try to eat fruit for snacks. Also if you have a WII try doing around 30 minutes a day.

I'm sure it will drop off really quickly x x x

Lots of water...if you're not drinking much your body actually retains water, adding weight, so drinking more means your body doesn't retain as much and lets go of the stored stuff....alot of people's initial high weight loss is water weight

snack often...low cal/fat healthy snacks every couple of hours keeps your metabolism running

never skip breakfast...it jumpstarts the metabolism

any kind of exercise is good exercise...walking up the stairs an extra few times a day, walking to the shops instead of driving, playing wii fit is fun and good for ya! any exercise dvds you have

quite literally when you first start to lose weight it's calories in VS calories out...so eat a lil less and just move a little more!

I think drinking water is a huge issue for me... I hardly drink any fluids now im not pg (I made an effort when pg). I am going to make sure I drink loads and get on the Kinect and do some exercise.

I think I also need to cut my meal sizes down as I will happily sit with a mountain of chilli and rice given half the chance x

drinking water was an issue for me too laura, i really don't drink much, but can you maybe add a tiny bit of squash to give it some taste?

portion size is a big thing, always check labels...it amazes me sometimes when i look at foods and realise just how much fat/calories are in even the healthiest looking things
