Ive just shelled out 40 quid to go see a show im gonna hate!

Show me show me is in swindon the weekend before caelyns bd so ive just paid for tickets in the bleeding 2nd row from front for me, neil and C and asked my parents to babysit awen. Have decided not to do a bd party just take her out for some alone time with mummy and daddy and see the show this year and then take her for lunch and open her pressies on her bd

Mind you knew id made the right choice when she came in and saw the pic on the comp screen and got very excited about 'pui and chip!'

I felt a bit like this about going to the In the Night Garden live last year but i have to say when we got there her little face lit up and it was worth every penny and i spent most of the time watching her rather than the freaky blue thing on the stage!!

That said I could cheerfully smash Chris's face in

Caitlin LOVES show me show me. I love it when the do show me your groovy moves and Caitlin starts bopping away and then freezes. So cute to watch

It is fecking annoying but. Poi must be about 2ft 10 and they get ridiculously excited about crap.

I must be crazy too because im away to google to see if any of the cbeebies shows are coming to Belfast this year. I like the idea of a bday day out, it actually prob works out the same or cheaper than a party, even at home. Im sure C will have a brilliant bday! x

Hey I think you're a top mummy arranging a birthday treat like that, I bet c has a great time. I'm always a bit poo with thinking up exciting ideas.

Well tbh its partly selfishness on my part as Awen will only be 6 weeks old when C turns 2 so really dont fancy trying to organise a party which means having me house trashed by excited cake filled toddlers while i try and stay awake or pay silly money to go to soft play while i try and stay awake. So when i saw it was in our town that near her bd i figured it would work out actually about the same or slightly less than a party and cos Mum and Dad will have Awen for me its some mummy daddy time for C which i figure she will enjoy way more at that point anyways lol. Actually found it while i was looking for ITNG live lol.

I think it's an altogether fab idea for the reasons you said. I think c will appreciate having a nice with just her, mummy and daddy!

Lol doesnt sound like my idea of fun but Im contemplating doing it for H as im sure they are coming round by us soon (my mum found something with it on somewhere and ive not bothered since) but I know Hannah would love it. Im not joking though it does my head in that show!
