I don't think I am as strong as I thought. The whole ttc journey is really starting to take its toll and take over my life. I was in tears this morning on the way into work and I feel mentally and emotionally exhausted by the whole thing.

Everytime I log onto facebook someone else has announced they are pregnant I hate feeling so envious of people. I have a bad feeling that there is something not right and I have maybe left it too late to start a family. I know it has only been 8 months, but it feels like forever. I have also been advised that I shouldn't get pregnant before my next psychiatry appointment and I haven't been advised why.

Sorry for all the negativity in my posts girls I am just so tired and emotionally drained by the whole thing.

I think it can be emotionally draining whether its been two months or two years hun.

Every time you see that bfn or af arrives it feels dreadful, and im sure that you feel more people announce they are pregnant all the time, it hurts so much more when you want something so badly.

I am sure that there is nothing physically wrong hun, but it has been heard of so much that the more you get stressed about ttc, the harder it is.

Although I know that its impossible to 'go with the flow'.

Hopefully your holiday will bring some happy news. I would advise not taking anything to delay your AF and try to keep your body functioning as normal as possible.

Diane i dont know what to say hunny, except that i wish i could make it better for you. You are struggling so much with this and its a huge roller coaster for you.

My heart breaks for you, i think you should go to NYC and have the time of your bloody life, get drunk, eat crap and just chillax to max xxxxx

Ditto on everything Jo and Laura just said hun! You cannot look at any of it as some type of personal failure! Getting pregnant..for anyone..is pretty much a miracle to begin with. Everything has to be 100% in alignment for it to occur! You and David so need this trip..to take your mind off things..and take a big bite of the big apple! I just want to give you a huuuuge hug to let you know that you are not alone and I love ya sweetums! xxx

You know what i think from chat hon but i'll say it again. Nice hols this month. Oving about that time too. No bloods, no peeing on sticks, have a fabbo holiday and boff your OH til his brains turn to mush and fall out his ears. Enjoy it, worry about the rest after. You need the break and you and hubby just to enjoy each other for a while

It is a rollercoaster, and it will seem like everyone around you is announcing they're pregnant and you'll constantly see pregnant ladies, but your time will come.

Trust me, I know there's nothing worse than getting that crampy feeling and knowing it's probably all over for another month, but best to dust yourself off and look forward to your next attempt and try not to let it stress you too much.

Also... spend a silly amount of money on clothes in NY... then you will find out you are pg and you wont be able to wear them ever again!

I did that this time around and got a bfp when I got home from buying the stuff!
