Bedtime bunny and 'Uffa' Bedtime bunny are getting very threadbare and their stuffing is a mess from constant washing and one of them has a little patch of loose stitching uder one arm, im not confident enough to restuff and stitch them myself but dont think C will be giving up her ever present little friends anytime soon so think might do a bit of pre emptive repair before they get too past help

What do you think? Or am i just nuts

my mom always had to sew my teddy's ear on, i think she would have liked that idea.

rich has had same teddy for 12years and never had to repair it, apart from needing washing again he looks new, but thats boys i think they dont tend to cuddle the life out of their bears, where as girls tend too, i know my neices both have had bandages on their teddys in past year.

i think it would be a nice experience for c too, to see the teddy going to hosptial and come back, just like mommy is,.. is that too deep for a monday afternoon, apologies if it is

The restoration jobs on the teddy bears on the teddybeardoctor are amazing.

They are Gill, BB is actually in ok condition but comes out the washing machine grey still and his arms and legs are kinda flat from the stuffing moving into his central areas from washing.

Im gonna speak to em both tommorrow and find out how much wud be for a good throrough deep clean and restuff to tidy em both up, as long as its not too expensive will probs treat her to some bunny therapy lol. The one in bristol would be great if you can actually go there too as a little trip for her and you never know they may 'deliver' for pegnunt bunny pmsl.

We have bought a little tiny toy bunny for him as shes now making the midwife palpate and listen to his tummy when she does mine lol!

Clare C hardly ever gets through a 2 or 3 hour stretch without a cuddle from BB and often drags him around by an arm or leg or has both under an arm as shes puttering about so hes so well loved im not surprised that in less than 2 years hes as grubby and threadbare as hes getting already, time for pre emptive action methinks lol

aah i think the sites are lovely and definitely worth looking into, might even consider sending my childhood teddy for a facelift he could def use it lol xx
