Sometimes I feel like Harry would rather be with Rob than with me as Rob seems to do more with him. Don't get me wrong I do lots with Harry, take him to the park, for walks to the ducks etc but yesterday I get a text at work of a picture of Harry at the swimming pool at Water World and I felt so jealous that I wasn't there with them as I have wanted to take Harry swimming for a while. When I'm at home I tend to do a morning of housework while Harry plays with his toys in the living room or the garden, then we will go to the park or something but it doesn't seem as exciting as a day with daddy, although when I get in from work its evident that the housework has be abandoned.

Do any of you have this problem? I love the fact that they have a great bond but I feel like I'm missing out lol how selfish xx

once or twice a week i say bollocks to the housework and we just go and do something (with or without husband), it drives me mental coming home to dishes, laundry etc but tbh it never seems to be 'done' no matter if i spend all day doing it or if i leave it

just think of something you fancy doing/feel enthusiastic about and take harry along with you (possibly not the pub ) i bet he would really enjoy whatever it was because he would catch the enthusiasm from you

We are going shopping with my mum this afternoon, and I'm tempted to not take the buggy as he loves walking everywhere, but then he would have nowhere to go when he gets tired lol xx

Well TBH hun I feel like that a hell of alot at the moment!!! Even when I wasnt pregnant and I worked in the afternoons, Simon would take Libby to soft play with a friend and I would sit at work seething with jealousy

Now, I see Simon rolling about with Libby and her giggling her little head off and I feel like crying because I can barely get on the floor let alone roll about with her

Aww bless you hun, but you have an excuse you're pregnant. Harry just thinks I'm boring, I feed him, get him dressed, bath him and put him to bed but daddy makes him really laugh to the point where he has tears lol and I love that they have that relationship but I wish I had that with him too xx

hun, i'd take the pushchair, but let him push it, i use to do this with rich and he felt so grown up, but when he was tired he use to get in.

also even though i was a single mom for 6 yrs, when russ came along i got jealous of his and richs bond, they play fight, watch movies, play games, but thats what dads do, i do this too but not all the time.

i use to have one day a week when i would do no housework and we would go out, if i remember was a tuesday (child benefit day) and we would go out for whole day and have lunch somewhere.
and i still do this now, even in big holidays i have one day off a week and tahts our day to play.

enjoy your day and dont worry harry loves you, i bet he comes to you when he is hungry, or tired, or wants to shout at someone
