| Well ive posted before about Tayla just not letting me do anything with her hair and nothings changed lol! I put a clip in it just to keep her hair out of her eyes but she always takes it out, i have to take 3 clips out with me and we are getting through a pack of hair clips a week where she throws them Its not quite long enough in places to actually put up properly, its long at the front and the back but short on the sides lol. Ive tried putting it up in bunches and looks cute but she pulls them out within minutes! So do i cut her fringe is the question? (not actually me, prob my mum) or do i keep battling her to keep it up? Also with her bday coming up im looking for a nice white/sliver flower type clip, nothing ott though, where do u get all their pretty hair bits from? |

| I have a similar battle with Caitlin. Clips get pulled out and while I can get 80% of her hair into a bobble it looks quite straggly at the sides and front and never stays in more than an hr or so (usually 10 min!) Atm im trying to persevere tbh. Stuart, MIL & SIL keep hinting that she needs her hair cut. I dont think she does because all they could do is cut in a fringe and maybe even cut her curls at the back - whicj would make it even harder to put up. Yes a fringe would look neater, but it would need to be maintained. Its personal preference but id prefer to go through another 6months of this and hope that nearer xmas her hair is long enough to brush behind her ears, or she will learn to tolerate clips better. It depends on face shapes but sometimes I think fringes can look a bit heavy/blunt on kids (maybe I just have bad memorys of childhood pics of me! ) Sorry not much help. Im just trying to brush it a cpl times a day and 'train' it into place - my mums idea and cant really say its working lol. Its so frustrating seeing other girls - jo's ava! - with beautiful bunches and then looking down at my raggdoll! Dont know about clip... ebay shop? x |

| We've got the opposite problem with Libby - far too blinking much hair!! I did contemplate having a fringe cut in but I'm so glad I didn't as I can tie it all back and off her face. With regards to clips etc. I do think perseverence is the key, Libby used to take hers out all the time but doesnt bother now. Oh and Claire's Accessories is good for clips etc. xxx |

| Hey,
Sophie has a similar issue, i can get her to keep bobbles in for a few hours, i put them in and instantly distract her with something really exciting for her and then she forgets about them for a while. Clips generally dont bother her anymore, at the mo i just buy the 12 for £2 at asda for Sophie as she does tend to lose them when out.
I cant take Sophie for a hair cut at the mo, she has been once and was good as gold but second time she screamed as soon as we were in the hairdressers so i'm putting that off for the min.
Im with snoopy on the fringe front i'd rather suffer another 6 months of clipping her hair to the side than having to go to the hairdressers every 6 weeks because it is in her eyes.

| Hey girls
I'm exactly the same.
Ellie's hair is very curly and very wild. Everyone in my family are asking when I'm going to cut her fringe! Answer is I'm deffo not cutting her fringe. At the moment I'm wetting her hair in the morning and combing her curls and then clipping her fringy front bit out of her eyes. And yep we're going through shit loads of clips but I find that you can get quite nice ones in Morrisons for £1 as opposed to boots were they're £3.95 for two.
She's fine with bunches though and keeps them in (coz I put them in soo tight she can't get them out lol)

| So the answer is defo a no to the fringe (good, it was my mum saying i should lol) and then really tight bunches ill give it a try if he sits still long enough! I always said id never have one of those scruffy little girls with messy hair and a snotty nose....and thats just what i have lol! Oh and found the clips i was looking for in Tesco |

| Terri Caitlin was at the park on Saturday and I swear she looked like an orphan! If she hadnt been my child id have be casting judgement! Hair falling out all over the place, snotty nose as cold was starting, tomato sauce over face as we'd had a picnic and she wanted to run an play instead of be cleaned, she then pooped and her 5 year old friend announced he could smell her bum and loudly said the reason no other kids were playing with her was because she had a dirty face and smelt of poo ... and then to top it off I sat down on my ass for 2 min only for her to climb up something and fall off, bump her head and have another mother pick up my screaming, dirty, smelly child! Mortified was not the word! She honestly looked like she needed removed from my care... in saying that she had a fab day apart from the bump - which I do feel guilty for! x |

| I get nice clips from sainsburys and more fancy ones from acessorize. I have cut a fringe in Lilys hair as i was finding when she came home from nursery that it was all in her face as the clips had come out etc and i thought it wasnt fair that she had it in her face allday. I just cut her fringe myself and i think it looks ok, i think she looks quite cute with a fringe |

| C has a fringe cut in. I can get all the rest of her hair in a pnytail at the back-for all of 3 minutes til she pulls it out and i get her fringe trimmed when i have my hair done. I go the same place all the time and they dont charge me to do c's fringe as im paying to have my hair done and it takes 2 mins. Suits her and im done losing clips every 10 secs. I also have one of those grubby children with wild hair |

| Oh thats alright! Actually not that its any of my business anyway! Just wondered is people from the UK did use that website and pay £20 a pair. I get Caitlins clips in tesco/sainsburys as we lose so many. Ava looks like a neat child anyway... she would appreciate a luxury hairclip! |

| I had problems with clips with Aimee. I got some strong bands, not the soft fluffy kind, but the band type, from boots and tie them three times. She wouldn't pull them out as she will take the hair out with them.
Works a treat x |

| See Taylas its really fine/thin (always get confused why is hair called fine? lol) When i do her 'bunches' it just looks like devils horns but still kinda cute (or a Japanese sumo wrestler!) i use those bands and tie them like 100 times but i will try and do them tighter tomoz see if the little miss scruff bag can still take them out still |
