| My dad went down for surgery at 4.10pm. He should be out in the next half an hour or so and I am going out of my mind!  I seriously do not know how I got through Aimee's 10 1/2 hours of surgery without having to be sedated. I think I must have been in complete denial. x |

| Have finally just heard.
He is now in recovery and is trying to breathe on his own, so it is looking good.
Obviously the next 24 hours are vital and he will be in ICU. I should know more in the morning.
