none of us ended up in our month

how are the babies doing?? i keep reading the development stages and ben isnt doing any of it except the smiling!

i've not been reading anything, i don't mind as long as she's well in herself

ben consultant keeps asking me how does he compare, what is he doing etc. so i kinda have to. i never done it with any of the rest of my kids

do u think its ok to let them sleep 12 hours without a feed?? ben slept un disturbed for 12 straight hours!

Yeah, apparently it is, although I'm tempted to say no just so you wake him up I think at this age it's ok though - my h.v said I can leave Elijah as long as he will sleep (ho ho).

As for development, it's all a bit hit or miss - I keep getting emails from bounty (why?) telling me Eli should be able to juggle one handed by now and write eloquent prose...but he can sort of nearly roll over a bit, and giggles and talks loads and thats good enough for me

Arwyn can say "hiya"..... or at least a noise very similar!

Elijah can say 'oh really pixel' hahaha

well i think ben is making up for all the feeding he missed whilst he had that mammoth sleep!!! he has took 7 oz every 2 and half hours all day today!!

i know u pair are bf so wont bore u with my feeding dilemma

but im so happy this morning!!!! the last few days bens been making his wee coo in noises there so cute!! he is a very very quiet baby, even his cry is so so so quiet. well he dont actually have a proper cry he just kinda bleats. hes cried properly 3 or 4 times lol!!

he is all up to date with his injections too, im pleased! bit miffed they gave him the 6 weeks and 12 weeks at the same time thou. we soul was in agony for a couple of days

argh what on earth did they do that for???!!

elijah had his last weds and is only just recovering - i dont know if it's because it's 3 injections or if he just didn't take to it well. He was poorly after his 1st ones but fine after the 2nd.

he was really restless last night and had a temperature most of the day/night (we dosed him up on paracetamol on wednesday so i guess that masked it). didnt want to give him too much medicine but he was so miserable! he has already woken up late and fallen properly asleep today so we are having a quiet day in (sorry pixel!) and maybe a little walk later if he perks up.

elijah's cry is definitely quite well developed now haha but i can tell the difference between a proper cry, a tired cry, a hungry cry and a 'give me attention im bored' cry haha

im so broody i have already whined at pixel about it, but i will whine at you too laura seeing as this is the smallest birth club ever! Also, there is already a june mummies 2011 post on ab - i feel so sad about that but i dont know why!!

im major broody too, i blame ben!! and reading other peoples birth stories hehe

its them little smiles first thing in the morning, when they squish them selves right up into a wee ball, knees up to the tummy the smell of the skin after a bath and to softness of them too. i just keep kissing him. watching alasdair be so loving towards ben, garry too. how they sit together all cuddled under the quilt, watching a film aww. i love my babies so much

ben got 3 injections too and next month its another 3!! and thats us. im dreading the last set, they are the ones that always leave the wee souls floored

yeah these were his last til a year - why did ben get two lots at once, was he too little to get his first ones??

they weren't going to give him the first set till he was 6 weeks gestation, then i missed the appointment, then he had a cold at the next one!! so by time he was able to get his first set it was time for the 2nd set so they did them both at the same time

i am so majorly not broody but i wasn't before having Arwyn, i just wanted a baby! i'd be pretty happy to just have her, but i won't be telling my OH that!!!
