| Eh utter bollocks imo!
The study even says so itself, and I agree, that mothers who BF are more likely to be older, better educated etc and I think that is hinting at the real issue - parenting styles.
I dont mean to sound judgemental to young, uneducated mums (teen mums can be fantastic mothers) I just mean how you raise your kids and your values is more likely to be the reason for behaviour problems than BF vs bottle. (btw I dont mean autism etc, i mean general 'bad' behaviour/no discipline)
Hope people get what I mean! |

| i got what you mean, this is what i was on about this morning in the debates section.
for a mom who has a child with behavioural issues and didnt bf for alot of reasons, that hurts..
i think its very clever, behaviour of kids is a huge issue especially in schools at the moment, so lets target new moms and say bf is best because it stops it (well almost) and then we get more moms bfing.....
pressure
i actually ranted at the tv on this one have to say, but not getting on soapbox will be here all day but basically a load of crap |

| I haven't read the article cos I think it will just make me annoyed. but what a load of nonsense how can they even judge that... in a real scientific study they would have to use the same babies being bf and the same babies being bottle fed to see what the difference was... impossible! |

| WTF! Even from a young age bottlefed babies always seem far more settled and better behaved than breastfed ones. |

| I haven't read the article but already I know the answer because my nephew couldn't be breast ex because my sister was on medication for severe allergies, and he is far and away the best behaved child I have ever seen! I can only hope some of it rubs off on my (fully BF) Imogen |

| Even tho i breastfeed Noah i dont believe in it either. I was not BF but OH was and i am more behaved than him lol.
Every child has its own personality, and parents siblings family have a big influence on a child behavior.

| Argh just another way to guilt people into BF. It makes me so mad, i won't read the article it will just annoy me more.
I bf Immi for just under 5months then bottle fed and i think she behaves like any other little girl her age. I know kids that were fully bf and awfully behaved and some little angels. I think it's all crap. |

Ha ha. I might start telling people I'm feeding Jamie with holy water PMSL! See Awens not the easiest baby in the world (mostly cos of the reflux to be fai to her poor lil monkey) and shes BF. C was BF for 6 weeks and then formula and shes just a normal toddler albeit a spirited one. Holy water made not a whit of difference |
