| Dexter has gone back to being a nightmare in the evenings, I can hear when he feeds that he has alot of air in his tummy but really struggles to get it up/out, so I think this is why. So far I have tried:- Obviously winding him after every feed Gripe water Dentinox colic drops Warm baths Moving his legs in a cycling motion Bringing his knees up to his chest Is there anything else I can try? Thank you xx |

| I know you said you wind after feed, just wondered what positions you're trying? I found Immi only burped if i sat her on my knee and leant her forward and patted her back (rather hard!). Whereas my neice needed to face down on forearm.
Sorry you've probs tried all the positions but didn't know what else to mentionx |

| Milo was quite windy when he was little and one thing that really calmed him down was a tummy massage - my mum did this a lot for him and it really seemed to help. You just massage a gentle circle clockwise around their belly button, it usually helped Milo do a massive trump then fall asleep He was quite tricky to wind so I feel your pain! Sorry if it's something you've already tried, good luck with it if not! xx |

| lucas is a pest for wind too, i found holiding him on my shoulder and jigging gently up and down while patting his back helps him.
i use to lie rich across my knees on his belly and rub his back, when he had probs |

| Thanks ladies, well I copied the vid and gave him the massage, he was fine at first but then got whingy and no trumps The trouble is he's very sicky and often crys while/after feeds so we're going to hospital on friday to see a pediatrician as he possibly has reflux. We've got gaviscon but I'm reluctant to give that to him as it makes him constipated, plus its so hard to get it down him. I will persevere with the massage, he's often his happiest when laying on the floor/changing mat so it gives me something to do. Thanks again xxx |
