just got a letter through for danielles 2 year review , 6 feckin weeks away ! would rather have it sooner , ok it is only 3 weeks after her 2nd birthday .
you think if i call on monday they might make it slightly sooner ? it has been years since i have been 2 a 2 year review , what happens again ?

No idea, least you getting one. Caitlin got her weight/length done at 4 months, then her jabs at around 1year (no weight or height done) and we dont see HV again until her school readiness assessment. As she is the eldest in her year she will be 4.5 or 5 then!

I haven't heard anything about Imogen's. The hv came to visit when I first moved here and said see you in a few months for 2yr review but not heard a word since.

I think they the standard height/weight then things like walking/talking/responses etc

Might be worth ringing see if you can get it earlier, they can only say no

we went to the hv about 5 months ago just to have her weight and height checked and I dunno really just to have a chat because we quite liked our hv and they told us they were really busy with 2 year checks but they would send a letter with an appointment for ours - still waiting.

Hmm you've reminded me.. perhaps I should take Hayden to clinic and ask and maybes get him weighed

I didnt even know they had a 2 year check until a few weeks ago!! So obviously Libby never had one, in fact the only reason she has seen a HV is because of Dexter, other than that I think the last time was at her 9 month check (this is because the clinic where they get weighed is only available on a Monday morning for a couple of hours so you can imagine how busy it gets!).

I'm personally not bothered as I know she perfectly healthy and is talking/learning very well.

at olivers last jabs, i was told the next time he would be seen was his pre-school assessment, they must just do it different in different areas x

Lily had hers last week and she was 2 in March! They watched her drawing, stacking bricks etc and were generally patronising and that was about it. Oh and they weighed her and measured her and basically said she was a giant

i will be going purely as im a little concerned about her speech or lack of it BUT i expect the well her siblings will talk for her , it will come and more importantly the well if she didnt have a dummy ever ,,,,,,,, i am prepared though to cut them off before they start their shit patter with me !
