| ok girles well basically you now calculate points on fibre, protein, fat and carbohydrate. Still points based but apparently its more accurate.
You get a daily allowance of points (no lower than 29) and a weekly allowance (49 for everyone) so you could use them as 7 extra points per day or if you have a big night out coming up or a meal out, use them all in one day on top of your daily allowance.
You cant save points anymore and if you dont use them you lose them that day. Same with weekly points, is you dont use them you cant carry them over to next week.
A lot of food has gone up in points for example meat and alcohol but fruit is now zero points.
It does look quite good actually and apparently the trial users have lost quite a bit of weight over 5 weeks (one woman lost 17lb!)
They do recommend that you use all you points, daily and weekly to maintain a healthy balance.
You do get all the literature you will need, but you cant use the old calculator, kitchen scales and pedometer with the new system you have to buy new.
Anything else you need to know ladies just ask xxx

| lmao that confused me for a sec there!! Do you get all the literature in the first week or do they stager it like the other bits? I would like the info but couldn't commit to spending £5+ per week atm.
Its does sound interesting! |

| You will get what you need really the first week. You get the new cardboard calculator, quite a good foods list, booklets all about the new system. The only problem would be is you cant work out your own points, your leader has to do it for you baased on your height, weight and age, and it might change as you lose weight. I would say you could probably follow it with the first weeks literature. And of course if you need help i will be going to meetings and getting new literature every week xx |

| I must admit i am finding have 49 extra points er week on top of my daily allowance strange. Feel a bit funny about using them. I could have an extra 7 points per day or have 88 ponts all in 1 day and just my daily allowance for the other 6 days |

| I dont think I like the sound of it. Iv done the old WW twice and it worked for me. Lost nearly 4stone the 1st time & 1.5 the 2nd. Maybe I should be more open to change.... I got by eating crap though tbh, so maybe it would encourage you to eat healthier. Eg Id eat low fat crisps, fried egg sandwhiches (using no cal spray), low fat bacon sandwhiches, low fat choc mousses, cereal, happy meals , ww ready meals at 4/5 pts. Im guessing alot of the types of food I ate have gone up in points because they quite high in carbs and low in fibre.... I like the idea of 49 extra pts though, guessing its not the same as having 49 extra points on the old ww... that would have been fun!!! |

I think I'm gonna struggle to not compare the old diet to the new, to me that meal isn't overly bad, alright I wouldn't have the cottage cheese or salad cream but even so, 21 points would have been over my daily allowance lol! I guess it's about making informed decisions, I did use to love bran flakes and raisins so I imagine I'll be living on them! |

| From what I can gather it's a min of 29 points for daily allowance, I imagine it depend on weight, height and activity levels. Then you have 49 kinda bonus points which you can use throughout the week as you please.
I think the main difference from what I've ready is that they are trying to steer you away from carbs and fat towards fibre and protien which fills you up for longer! |

| Hey ww girlies! Hows things going? how you getting on with the plan? I'm loving it, never eaten so much fruit and veg in my life lol! I've cut right down on carbs, mainly bread! The only thing i'm a little skeptical about is that all fruits are 0points it scares me a bit as the one's i tend to like are banana's and grapes and i know on the last ww diet they were quite substancial in points! I'm not letting myself eat too many of them just in case! I'm doing it online, has anyone else joined the communtiy boards over there? x |

| Well done Amy thats a good loss! Heres to the next week! I really hope i loose, i cant see why i wouldn't, Other than maby af arriving, ive been feeling quite bloated the last couple of day, i'm thinking its my body getting use to all the veg lol I have to say i'm loving this diet, I'm not feeling bad about using points on 'naughty' stuff because i have more than enough! I had 10 points left at the end of yesterday and was very satisfied hunger wise. the only thing i could think of eating was chocolate lol. I didn't want to not use 10 points, thought that might be a bit much! |
