Who wears them?? What type do you have and how much do you pay?

I currently have daily desposable ones which I use for special occasions, however I am thinking I might like to wear them more often, especially with the summer coming as I can wear nice sunglasses.

So I am after some reviews for monthly ones, or do you prefer daily ones. Daily ones seem better but are they more costly etc??

I've worn them or about 15 years now and use daily disposables purely because some days I wear glasses too, Ive tried most of them, I've used the continuous wear ones you keep in for the full month and also the monthly disposables that you wash out every night, but never had a problem with any of them. I get mi e from boots because I get advantage card points and pay £16.50 a mth for 20 pairs ( I wear glasses the rest of the time). Specsavers are quite cheap too. Your best bet is to go in to the opticians, they'll give you some to try out and see if you like them. give me a shout if you have any questions

I wear them and I have both daily disposable and monthlys.

I normally get my monthly ones from Specsavers and its £5.50 per month including delivery (cancelled my contract when pg as I cant wear them). That also includes the yearly check price.

I also then go online at (http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/GB/CountryHomepage.aspx) and get daily disposables for if im going on a night out or something and then I dont have to worry about making sure I put them away properly at the end of the night. They cost £5.99 for a box of 32, but you would need to buy two boxes to complete an order.

I've wore them for about 15 years (Jeez I feel really old now) and I used to have the monthly ones but found they dry my eyes out. So I switched to daily disposables and they are great. I pay £14.00 for 30 lenses so 15 pairs from Vision Express.

I don't wear them every day, I usually wear my glasses for work. When I was younger I used to wear them from 7am to 12 midnight and started to damage my eyes so I had to cut my wearing time way down. So now usually wear them 2/3 times a week for say 5 hours at a time.

Sorry but how the heck do you get them so cheap?? I got them a cpl wks ago after taking others advice about giving them a go. I got a 5 day free trial and then went back for a check and to order more. I too only want them for occasional wear eg nights out/weddings/family pics so I only ordered 30 days from specsavers - £35 for 30 pairs! I have astigmatisms in my eyes though so have to get toric one's. Dunno how much dearer that makes it. I feel like im being robbed!!

The optician told me that due to the fact my astigmatism isnt 100% corrected with lenses, I have mild hayfever, and its not really advised for me to wear them every waking hr, daily disposables are my best option and atm he wouldnt recommend monthlys.

Atm im just about managing to get them in and out. No way I could go through the trauma every day so im thankful for my speccys!!!

I wear them everyday, i hate my glasses. I pay £60 for 6months monthly ones but thats cause i wear them too much (sometimes - read a lot of the time i sleep in them) and have now messed up my eyes a bit and have to wear special ones that allow more oxygen in. Before that was only paying £25 for 6months. My optician is a family friend though so he normally takes off a bit of money so not sure if those figures are really how much I should be paying.
