I think I'm soon to loose my plug, got a discharge , my instincts are telling me to stay home and not go out.

Going to put car seat cover back on tonight, sort the boys bag and put sheets in crib ready.

Anyone else melting in this new heat, I'm refusing to buy any more maternity clothes but my jeans are heavy lol

So can anyone remember getting discharge before loosing plug?

It could be, my midwife said you can lose your plug weeks before labour though so it might not mean anything

Yes the heat is doing me in too, been up the hospital for my consultant appt today and it was like an oven in there!

True, just seeing it as a step forward.

How did the appt go

Hopefully it means not too much longer for you. Yeah went well, got a surprise scan which was nice as haven't seen bubs since 20 weeks. He's head down in position, she thinks he'll be around 7lbs 7oz if I go to 40 weeks which is a nice size, but she thinks I'll have gone into labour by then as he's started to engage now which is unusual this early on a second pregnancy. Have booked in for a sweep at 40 + 3 just in case though!

i have lots ofdischarge now..and i mean LOTS! its so annoying i have to constantly wear a panty liner! also when i had jamie i lost my plug 3 weeks before having him and got excited it was gonna be soon but he was a week late! however doesnt mean to say that will happen with u! you know ur body better than any1! x x

i have had lots of discharge this time too, but i can never remember loosing my plug with any of the boys,
hopefully it is a sign of things happening for you claire, glad the wee man is ready mandy hopefully he wont be too long ether
the heat doesnt bother me at home but at work in the hospital it is boiling and makes me feel ill, x

i had loads of discharge and kept thinking oh my plug is coming soon ppftttt 2 doses of gel and a m/w's huge hand rummaging about up me before my plug came away xx
