I'm not sure they'd allow it for health and safety reasons (I know you don't intend getting pissed). Imagine if something happened to you or baby because youd had alcohol. They'd be in big trouble.

I really enjoyed hospital food and often thought it would be nice if they give you a glass of wine with it Smile

With your second you might need pain killers because of after pains, I'd leave it till I'm home and comfy again. I've not had a drink yet, because of amount of aches and pains I'm in.

Hopefully will send russ or a bottle later as I feel more myself now

The after pains are horrible Mandy, wait till you've had number 3! I remember telling the midwife that another baby was coming, they are so much worse than actual contractions, but a few co codamol and you will be rocking Smile x

I don't remember them with Chloe but then I think I was so full of painkillers from the section that I probably wouldn't have noticed!

No number 3 for me! This is my lot now Very Happy

I had natural births with all mine and they Definatley got worse each time. I was told that the closer together you have your babies the worse they are too and I have my 3 in 4 years so that probably didn't help. Don't worry though xxx

Oh yes, I remember excruciating after pains with Isla. There were 22 months between mine, so maybe that's why. It doesn't last long though... Xxx

A couple of paracetamol takes it off, with Lucas it was just like period cramps, with tams I felt like I was giving birth, but there's only a yr between then.

I had them with rich too and it's not common with first
