Had my sweep, which wasn't anywhere near as bad as I expected. My cervix was open and dilated 2cm and she's managed to stretch me to 3cm, so hoping something will start, been having cramps since. My plug had completely gone too. If nothing happens I'm booked to have my waters broken next Tuesday xx

That all sounds very positive Mandy. The fact that you didn't find it painful would suggest that things are ready to go... Fingers crossed this is the start, only 7 more cm's to go! Xxx

thats excellent news, although i believe you are naturally 1-2cms dilated even when not pregnant after 1st baby.. so ill probably be 3cms now LOL.

I had cramps for around about 5 hours with Charlie and then full blown contractions, with tommy it was a little longer but the cramps were definatly the start of things in both my labours! Good luck Hun

Well I'm still here

Had another big bloody show ths morning, still crampy but contractions have eased off now, really don't think this bubba wants to come out. I'm worrying how big he's going to be if he doesn't come out soon!!

Chloe is at her Nans this morning so having a lazy morning in bed x

I watched a documentary the other night about babies and apparently its a protein thats released by the baby that kick starts a chain reaction of labour... SO LISTEN HERE BABY W!!! YOU BETTER PART WITH THAT PROTEIN SOON MR!!!
