BANDA Ladies Against Baby Bellies!!

Right ladies it's time I lost some weight and I can't afford to join weight watchers at the mo so I'm starting my own online group here. I hope at least one person joins me otherwise I will be here every week berating myself for eating a whole pack of jaffa cakes again then crying coz I have put weight on instead of losing it I will look a right nut job so PLEASE someone join me - even if it is only to poke me with a great big stick and laugh at my wobbly bits!

I've honestly never been on a proper diet before so I'm not entirely sure how I'm gonna go about it so any suggestions welcome.

I will post my weight every week with a pic as evidence so I can't tell fibs if Ive had a bad week. I don't have scales so will probably be a pic of the wi fit screen. If anybody wants to join me in doing this please feel free but dont feel you have too either - just pop on here for some encouragement.

Im not exactly looking to lose weight but i want to get fit and tone up! I would like to loose a little bit of weight though esp my love handles, thighs and tone up my wobbly bum! I will weigh myself later and post again.
Ive got my induction at the gym next monday and ill be going every tuesday and thursday for an hour at least Ive never been to a gym either...only at school!

And just to add ill be cutting down on my addiction to cakes

Tara no one is going to judge you here, were all in te same boat and we've all had babies but if you don't feel comfortable posting your weight how about doing your BMI? xxx

Well ive weighed myself on my own scales this mornin and im actually 12st 12lb. Im not sure if i shud start this week or next seeing as tho its my bday today n im out for dinner today, an italiens tomorrow night and sundays dinner on Sunday. My plan is to start monday so hopefully if im good from then shud do well.


i might PM Lisa and see if she could make a section for Healthy Living -that way we can have topics for meal ideas, exercise plans etc too

OK in for a penny in for a pound (pardon the pun)

I weigh myself every friday morning and this morning Was 1LB off last week so I am now

17stone 5lbs

Ive updated the list with Tara, Terri and Em. Hopefully we will all be a few pound lighter by xmas - not to mention a few pounds richer from what we save on takeaways etc. I will still have the odd treat - I dont believe in depriving yourself but have been having takeaways a lot recently and its never a healthy option and theres always loads of it so thats gotta stop! I think we might go for once a month on payday as a treat tbh coz we are a bit skint right now and shouldnt spend it anyway.

I'm off to get some lunch now but am really struggling for healthy lunch options tbh - I have nothing in - Im gonna do a big shop this weekend and there will be no 'crap' in my trolley - if I don't buy it I cant eat it!!!

Ok here's my weight from weds evening when i go to ww. I don't have scales here.

That's 11st 13lb. and i lost 1lb in the last week. Not sure how i'm going to this this week as i'm going out drinking with to celebrate my friends birthday and i always drink too much and eat crap after but will try my best to stick to the diet.

Anyways my goal weight is 9st. For my height i should be between 8st and 10st so i went for the middle Got quite a lot to loose still but hoping one day i get there.

I would just like to mention, a good friend of mine Kerry. She was a size 28 this time last year, she has lost an amazing 6 stone and dropped down to a size 18! She has medical problems too (marfans) and has always been a big girl and she is 6ft 4. Shes still going though and aiming to get to a size 14. I think she is amazing so would just like to show off my friends achievements and give us all some inspiration

Well done to your friend! i love hearing stories like that it gives me hope i can actually do it too.

Does anyone have a picture of themselves slim to give them motivation? I've always been tubby so i don't have a pic of myself but when i'm tempted to eat and i know i shouldn't i look at pics of a few actresses i like and it does help to me stop eating.

Well ive just dusted off the wii fit, my camera needs charging tho so didnt take a pic. But im 8st 10lb and ....i was just about to type my bmi but ive forgotten it now (ill add that tomoz)
Im about 5'3 btw. So my goal is to get to 8st and fit back into size 8 clothes as im wearing mostly size 10 now.

Not sure how people feel about measurements but I thought maybe I might!
I think it's a good motivation especially when you don't loose weight in a week but instead you loose inches off your waist etc.

I do want to loose about 1 stone but more than anything I want to tone up and loose inches.

At 4:30 this afternoon I was 10st6 5ft7
Waist 31.5 inches
Hips 37.5 inches
Bust 36.5 inches
Thighs 23.5 inches

I want to try and slim down my thighs and tone my legs bum and tum the most! x

i am .5.3 and ideal weight is .8.half stone to 9stone 9lb pounds.. but i just want ten stone for now x

i can never do my measurements...it always seems wrong

i'm not going to weigh in today as i checked it yesterday which was my starting weight, so i'll log it next week...

am aiming for at least a 2lb weight loss per week.

ShellandImmi...i have lots of 'slim' photos on facebook that i go and nose at sometimes but tbh i tend to remember how confident i felt when i weighed 9stone! i used to be 13st, got down to 9st and felt amazing, my confidence was through the roof...now i'm back to being fat i have no confidence and am back to baggy jeans and hoodies

I have a few fat photos of me on FB and then skinny and then fat again so i know i can do it!! Not that i want to be skinny but when i got married i was a comfortable size 12 and felt dead confident in a bikini on honeymoon n stuff.

My problems areas are my face, my bum and hips and atm my stomach. I always had a waist till I had Alfie. Now its none existant!!

before pregnancy i was a a sise 6 to 8 .. wieghed ..7 and half stone..

now im 12stone 3.. i have photos me at my skinniest and me at my fattest its depressing i will never ever have a flat taught no matter how much i exorcise or diet x

I was a size 10 before I had Jake!! This is the first pregnancy where I have lost weight not gained!

Well I was about 12 stone b4 i Had Jaiden went up to 15 Lost 2 within about a year then put it all back on again Came off the pill to help lose weight b4 I got preg again Well that didnt happen fell preg 1st month after only BD once Went up to 17 with Sophia and just not been able to shift it yet I really need to lose it b4 we start ttc again cant wait to get BFP again tho

I just don't have pics of me taken! There are some of me on FB at my sister-in-law's wedding in march, around the time I conceived! And they make me cringe!! I will try and find either a link for them or add them on here! I might have a pic from when I was 18 that I will have a dig around for!

I will add my measurements later, obviously my tummy will be hugeous cause of bumpy but it will be interesting to follow!

Tara well done hun for being so brave! I ummmmed and ahhhed about putting my weight on and decided in the end that it would be good inspiration to be a good and lose!

Thanks hun im not sure if it was brave or stupid LOL But like you say it was the deciding factor that when I get on the scales and have lost I can take a pic of the new weight and post it And its a great inspiration to keep goin I Have never been small I think my lowest ever size was a 12 early 20's

also I figured if I put my weight on it might help others to b brave and put their weight up coz no1 gonna b as big as me

But then the more I have the more I have to lose right Hope so anyways

Ill always come on here when I need help and if im tempted by anything so u guys can kick me in the butt

Tara at the beginning of the year I was at least 17st! So believe me I know how you feel about being bigger!! Its only since this pregnancy I have really started to lose weight which isn't brilliant but I am determined not to put it all back on once I can eat again properly!!

Well ive been good but bad today, i went shopping an got all healthy stuff...minus some bakewell tart that was on offer but felt better by getting low fat custard to go with it Then after all that i went and got Mcdonalds BUT i did only get a happy meal! Plus ive done 2 hours on the wii fit and my leg muscles are killing me!
How is everyone else doing?

Today ive done loads of house work (in a rush just 2 get a sweat on) and had a small amount of cheese on toast 2 slices loads to ddrink (squash) and having pasta bake in a nit 4 dinner... No alcohol in the house and no nicies
