Oh kell I'm so glad that you're here?

How's college?

Ellie did turn out to be a lovely ellie and we said goodbye to eleanor on day 3 lol! Our hol was great if I'm honest I actually ended up enjoying mil's company so it was great! The poor old thing said she really enjoyed my performance on the plane and said she's never going to argue with me. Smile

that's so cute about Charlie and boo! Ellie is developing a proper little personality now and is really entertaining. She can also be a brat! Our problem is, is it took so long to get pregnant and she's marks only one at the age of 43 and she has Charlotte and Paul who dote on her so she's absolutley spoilt rotten!

Anyway glad you're here! Rach and andrea are here too and I seen frans name on the user list!

Hiya! I'm here too! Glad to see some other September mummies too. I hadn't been using much of AB anymore apart from our thread.

Isla's into peekaboo now too. Any type of blankie gets put straight on her head. Just need to make sure Immy doesn't hold it there!

Have you got Ellie's bday sorted Pen??

Oooh Fran I'm so glad you made your way over.

I also visit ab but only for September mummies. General chat is very quiet over there and there seems to be more going on here.

Lol I know it's not funny but I did giggle at the thought of immy and isla playing peekaboo and immy not moving the blanket. Fran, I'm sure it will get better between them in time. I'm two years older than my lovely, nice, kind, gentle sister and she really got on my nerves from the minute I set eyes on her! We do get on really well now nd love each other even though we are so different. So if they're anything like me and ness they'll be the best of pals in about 38 years. Only joking I'm sure it will get better as isla gets older and starts to be a playmate for immy.

Ellies birthday? Well her birthday is 17th which is a Friday so I'm just doing a small traditional birthday tea for family. I've ordered 1st birthday princess plates,Tablecloths, cups, napkins, banners, balloons etc from a catalogue that came in post. I'm getting a cake from m&s and doing proper party food such as jelly, egg butties, sausage rolls etc. I think that ellie will love it.

What have you got planned for isla?

They do love each other really! I just want them to have the close sibling that i never did.

Not much planned for Isla. Hers is Wednesday, so DH and i have booked the day off and Immy is having the day off nursery. Think we will go swimming or to Twinlakes (a young theme park) near us and have a little tea party in the afternoon with a few family and friends.

All your decorations sound great. I haven't bought any for Isla. I should do really! And not even thought about the cake yet... whoops!

Isla had her 2 hour session at nursery today and loved it. It really surprised me but she didn't cry at all, and was in a great mood when i picked her up. We have also been to rhymetime this afternoon and everyone sang happy birthday to her and she got given a book. Bless her she was bum shuffling around the library and even went up to the front when everyone was singing. Just made me realise how much she has grown up all of a sudden. That and looking at all her birth photos this morning, did actually make me feel a little broody. I'm sure tomorrow will knock that out of me though as have some friends coming round, so three extra children here. Should be hectic!

Have you done any trials leaving Ellie? How you feeling about work?

What you got planned for your bday then kell? Apart from getting smashed?!! Yeah i think i realised we were quite close when we were on our way back from Bedford a few months ago and Stevenage was signposted. Fancy a meet up??????????

Must go to bed. Night night x x x

Kell, how old will you be? Hope you have a great night.

Fran, I did leave ellie with my parents from 10 - 3.30 before our hols. She was fine and didn't cry. I'm really dreading going back to work. When I finished work I was pa to the assistant principal which was a really good job and I really enjoyed it. But I'm going back 3 days per week to job share as a secretary!! It's a bit of a come down! Also I'm a very bossy person who likes to be in charge, I like things done my way and I like to be in control! I don't think I'm right type of person to do a job share. When I left I worked in vocational and business development but I'll be working in A levels when I go back. Lots of people have been made redundant too. I rang hr on Tuesday and for an organisation chart as I didn't know who was doing what? They said it's impossible at the moment as they're still getting rid of people..... So I'm dreading it.

The day you have planned for isla sounds lovely. Gosh this time last year we waiting for them to arrive!

Kell, good luck with your dads move!

I'll be 27 Pen!
I dont have anything else planning tbh, i have all the three boys and jody's working in the evening so i'll be at home Sad
Pissed of doesn't even cover it!

Pen it sucks that your going into a different job, hopefully you'll still enjoy it once you get there!

Fran glad Isla enjoyed nursery!

I'm not sure how but i've managed to burn the roof of my mouth which hurts Sad

The move was good as far as they go, it was quite emotional actually, feels like the end of an era!

I've been invited to a 50th tomorrow with charlie, it will be good to go but i'm not sure if i should or not.
Charlie is in bed by 7 most days and the party doesnt start till 8, i'm sure for one night it wont hurt. maybe i could time his naps to make his bed time later.
Oh i dont know! lol

what have you guys got planned for the weekend?
Its just me and charlie so it'll be a quiet one for me Very Happy

Hi kell

I think you should go to the party for a bit, it's nice to get out. We've been invited to a 40th wedding aniversary next Saturday and ellie is also invited, so we'll probably go for an hour or two.

We've got a busy weekend. Paul's first game if the season ko at 10.30. Then up to watch another game. Then off to the travel agent to look for a holiday for next summer. We've rented out our apartment for a few years so we need alternative hols. Then to toysrus to look for a pressie for ellie. We really font know what to buy her. We're nit going over the top though as she doesn't seem interested in toys.

Just having a glass of wine Smile

Heya girls,

Ah didn't realise you were not going back to your original job Pen. Oh well i'm sure you will love it and make it your own. Sounds like you have a busy day tomorrow.

We haven't gone mad on pressies for Isla as she has so many of Immy's. We did order her this yesterday http://www.amazon.co.uk/LeapFrog-Learn-Groove-Musical-Table/dp/B000EIV1RO/ref=pd_rhf_p_t_1. And i have got her a sensory ball pit, mobile phone, book and a skirt.

I would go out Kell, as a one off i'm sure Charlie would love it. That's pants about your bday honey September 2009 mummies Icon_sad And where has your Dad moved to??

I will be 30 in just over 2 weeks time!!!! DH is taking me away for 2 nights but no idea where... and fairly sure there is a surprise something happening. I keep finding little clues!

Tonight was Isla's last feed. Don't actually feel that sad at all, maybe it will hit me tomorrow. It has been such a gradual process and i am ready to have my body completely back to myself now. She has been soo clingy today, it's been driving me a little crazy. If i am in the same room as her she moans and flaps for me to pick her up, and starts screaming if i don't. Think it maybe her teeth making her like it but even so it is a little frustrating.

We have quite a quiet weekend planned. Having my hair done tomorrow and going to view our pictures, and that is all.

Have a great weekend x x x

Dads just moved round the corner really.
It's just sad coz now mum and dad are completely over the final part of there divorce was selling the house. It's got alot of good memories and it's just an end of an era for our family.

We didn't go to mad with Charlie for his birthday and he had an amazing day!

Oh I just had pie and chips yummmmmmy!

Great Kell, we should plan a meet up for a few weeks time when you are settled. We are a bit hectic atm too! Did you go out last night?

Good choice on the activity table Pen, i'm sure Ellie will love it.

Ah that is sad about the house.

I had a lovely day yesterday, had my hair done and i feel all pampered. Was great to have a break from the girls too. Enjoyed watching Strictly with a glass of wine, as wasn't on feeding duty. Neither myself or Isla seem phased by stopping feeding yet... We have started giving her really weak, milky at bed time instead, so at least she is getting some calcium. Boobies aren't to sore either.

DH bought me some walking shoes yesterday, which apparently i will need when we go away. So we are off for a big walk this morning to test them out. Looks like it is going to be a lovely day here. Could do with some sunshine. Will be in the kitchen later baking birthday fairy cakes for Isla.

Have a good day girlies x x x

Hi girls

Oh has just taken Ellie to visit his mum so I have a hour to myself. Have to do housework and get a shower etc so its hardly a luxurious hour lol.

Fran, I might do some fairy cakes myself, I bet you make your own dont you? I was thinking of packets!!! But also Costco do very prety cupcakes so I may even go for that option. I do want it to be a super girly party though.

The activity table looks great, I can't wait to give it to her!

Hope your walking boots are ok. Ive had a pair for years that I now use for footy, theyre so comfy and warm.

Kell, pie and chips is one of my favourite dinners, its pure comfort food, hope you enjoyed it.

Ellie is now down to 3 bottles, one first thing in the morning, one at 10.30 (on the dot) and then one at bed time. Im doing some bottles with SMA and others full fat milk, she doesnt seem to be able to tell the difference.

Had a mad day yesterday due to footy. Pauls game was great and they won 3-2. But my u7s had a rough time and the oposing manager called our manager a cheating tw*t!! This was in front of 20 6 year olds. Im now in the process of getting reports into the FA.

A lovely day planned for today, we're going for a walk and then out for lunch at 3 at our favourite restaurant and will finalise the christening menu whilst we're there.

Hope we all have a lovely day.

ps I pmd Laura about this forum, I might get executed for this but I thought Id try as I miss her updates on Robert. If I dont come to any harm, Ill pm Mandy too! If I stop posting on both sites, it means I got caught and killed. But it was nice knowing you all. What about vic though, is it against the law for her to pop over??? I really dont understand forum politics!

I already pm'd Laura about here but she's not ventured over as yet,
I'm not sure what the politics are but ive noticed that non of mods from ab have come across.
You can post on both lol there's been a few posts about it and I think the original problem is ok!

Fran I have Thursdays off so I guess if possible that would be a good day lol

I went to the party, Charlie was brilliant! He was so good everyone was all over him! He was the only baby there so had lots of attention! They had an elvis tribute and Charlie was just mesmerised by him!

I was feeling a bit shit this morning so decided to curl my hair and doll myself up! So I'm looking all lovely to clean the house lol!

Have a lovely day! xx

Hey girlies,

Just a quick hi before i venture into baking land. I will be making my own Pen but i do packet ones with Immy sometimes, they are just as much fun! Had a lovely walk this morning in the fields, we collected my mum and brother's dog on the way. It was lovely and sunny and there were gorgeous views of the town and our local reservoir. Immy did really well and walked the whole way too. Doesn't seem to have tired her out enough to make her go to sleep this afternoon though...! It will be a sad day when she drops her nap September 2009 mummies Icon_lol

Can't believe what goes on at the footy! Well done to Paul. But can't believe how grown ups behave in front of children, they sound to petty and competitive.

Glad you enjoyed your evening out with Charlie Kell. Can just see you all glammed up cleaning away. I have been making an effort this week, and people keep asking where i am going, sound a bit of a fool when i say 'the dentist'! or something equally exciting. I will be working Thursday as of this week coming, so i could either do Monday, Tuesday or weekends. Would Peterborough be a good half way point??

Peterborough is fine, I've actually never been there so dont really know whats around, maybe you could suggest something?
I think a weekend is going to be the best bet then, i'm at college mon, tue, wed, fri

Morning girls

this is the first day of my last week on mat leave.

I keep crying, I'm going to hate going to work. Think I might go to Next later and get some suits and shoes!

Paul is off school sick so we can't really do much.

I so wish I could come to your little meet! But hey at least I have the Cheshire meet to look forward to next week, both me and andrea are going so it should be fun.

Have a nice day

Hi all

I finally made it over here!
Trying to to get to grips with it all! I've only just seen my messages on AB about this site, i was only going on there for our September posts too.

How do i put a ticker up on here and also how do i put a photo up?

Robert is doing well, he is standing all the time and trying to take a step to reach things but falls straight away!
Just been to town and when i got back i realsied i'd lost Roberts cup in town somewhere so i need to go and get him another one when he wakes up, luckily i do have a spare one but he doesnt really get on with it.

On the way home from our friends last night my exhaust fell off my car so i have to take it the garage tomorrow!

OOOOOOOOOH laura, Im made up you found us, I was really worried that we'd lose touch.

For your ticker you go into your profile and then signature and just past it in.

Ellie isnt showing any signs of walking, she just crawls, her leggings are always black on the knees and it makes it look like I dont clean my floors but I do.

Hope you get your exhaust fixed, I hate paying out for cars!

Afternoon,

Hi Laura, good to see you over here! That is poo about your exhaust. These are the occasions when i am glad i don't have a car!

Hey Pen, enjoy your last week. Don't be sad sweetie September 2009 mummies Icon_smile You will still have 4 days a week with your gorgeous little lady. Hope you find something nice at Next to cheer you up.

We have had a great morning. Isla didn't get up until 8.30am! And that was only because i went and got her! So i had the chance to do some painting and cutting, etc with Immy, which she enjoyed. Then we went into town to the big park and to the library, both girls were little stars. Which made me very happy. Just put them down for their snoozes, so thought i'd say hello before i go and start emptying the pots in the garden. One less thing to do before me move.

Love to all x x x We just need Mandy now!
