| This isn't a self indulgent post - honeslty No seriously it's just to show what I have managed to do with literally a few quid So first, bedroom bought some fabric from Dunelm and made 3 canvases and 2 cushion covers - cost about £15 Now Libby's bedroom, this is basically MDF letter thats hubby made and I painted and some red car - cost well about £5 Curtains, fabric about £3 (and managed to make curtains for playroom too) With felt butterflys on Lamp shade - £1 and used card from wall butterflys Now playroom, this sofa was £69 from Ikea - it was cream so not very practical so bought some PVC material for £15 and covered it Curtains, left over fabric from Libbys bedroom Added some detail on curtains, left over ribbon in my craft stuff Again lampshade £1 and some craft bits Another canvas used in the hallway And now lounge, made some canvases and cushions - bought the fabric as curtain from ebay for £8 Used either side of the fireplace And the cushions And finally a canvas I made out of left over craft stuff - canvas about £1 for 2 Oops one more, a blanket I decorated when I was pregnant, cost about £4 Sorry did warn there was loads of pics!! xx |

| OMG hun - they are all fab - you are so imaginative!! Keep them coming hun - I might pinch some of your ideas and see what I can come up with.
I think we should have a crafty forum for ideas like this - It just shows that you don't need to spend a lot to make something look fabulous!
Well done hun!

| Hehe thanks Mari, the lampshades came about because I just couldn't find anything I liked for Libby's bedroom and then decided to do something similar for the playroom (because it was so cheap ) xx |

| Yay glad I've inspired you It does amaze me how little you can spend sometimes, I'm actually going to be doing a birthday present for my firends little girl tonight, I'm going to personalise a plain top, the top was £2 for 2 and the felt was £2 for 3 squares (so I'm doing one for Libby as well) I'll put a pic up tonight when it's done xx |
