I feel like H is missing out on so much because i have Lewis to look after. I dont go to playgroups etc as i cant manage both kids myself as H is still very young and needs constant supervision as does Lewis. Lewis is also very needy and i seem to spend most of my day keeping him amused so H plays on his own alot. I do take them out for a walk when the weather is fit and go visiting friends etc. The last few days i have noticed H has been a bit nasty to Lewis hitting him with toys etc, is this him trying to get my attention? H will be going to pre school but not for a while and i cant afford nursery. I just feel so bad x

Aww hun, I'm sorry you're feeling like this. You're doing a wonderful job though. I would say the hitting thing might be attention but it could just be his age. Imogen is going through a phase where she's quite rough with other children. x

you're not a bad mum , it must be so hard looking after both of them at that age, give it a few months and they'll be able to play together more. xx

Im exactly the same, and the only thing we do is when Jess is napping then we get on the floor with Isla and either rough play, or read her 'words' book, or play feeding 'babies'......

But thats only when Jess is napping, the rest of time she entertains herself too Amanda.

I find it more the other way though....poor Jess gets ignored a lot, I feed her and then put her down and carry on with jobs, and then shes sleeping!

Youre not a bad mum love, just a normal one! xxx
