Hiya ladies! Just noticed a few posts recently about how crappy some of your OH's are making you feel and I just want to send some words of encouragement your way. Being a marriage Vet (21 years) I can assure you all, even being married to a pretty decent guy most of the time, relationships are ever evolving and HARD WORK! We as wives and mothers DO lose ourselves in the process, and at the end of the day, we want to feel supported, loved, and respected by our partners. Where we fail, is we believe that men can feel and sense this without being told because of all people in our lives..you'd think they would know us best of all. They don't. Even the "good guys" can be blind on occasion. Men are creatures of habit, and get comfortable...the occasional kick up the backside(jk'ing) can resolve most issues.

I have noticed on some of the posts that there are obvious relationship deal breakers...neglect, emotional abandonment, some have addiction issues with either alcohol/drugs/porn, and some have a sense of entitlement with constant partying and hanging out with the boys round the clock. I left out physical abuse as I would hope no one would stand for that! While everyone deserves to get out and have a good time once in awhile..when it starts to affect you, your kids and your day to day life...it's time to step back and reevaluate what you need. I'm not talking about day to day marital issues..those can be overcome.

This is where your self worth comes into it. Do you even remember what that is? That feeling that you are important and special..when you looked in the mirror once upon a time and said "Wowza..you are gorgeous!" That feeling of self pride..independence..where you actually felt ALIVE! The time in your life when someone pissed you off and you could easily tell them to go piss up a rope? LOL...This is the key to making you important again.....YOU MATTER! YOU teach ppl how to treat you! If you are constantly bending over backwards..offering up yourself like lambs to the sacrifice...without being noticed or thanked..or even touched with a tender hand...you start to lose even more of who you were. It's a never ending downward spiral.

Would any of us put up with a stranger treating us this way? NO! Do not allow anyone to walk on you..make u feel worthless..or empty inside! See yourselves for the true gorgeous beings you are! Your OH's did once..and they are capable of seeing it again...if not..life is waaay too short to stay with someone who wipes their shoes on your backside. Love yourselves..respect yourselves!

LMAO!! I have spent enough time with a lot of you girls..and by GOD..you are quite fabulous! I ain't just saying that! Everyone is allowed to vent about their crappy OH's and the day to day mini crisis's! I am more concerned with the gals that are putting up with stuff that shouldn't be going on! I would rather live in a cave, buck naked... in the middle of nowhere ...alone...than have a partner that takes the piss on me daily! xxx
