Right how do i start to explain this

How do you quote just a part of the post? if that makes sense instead of the hole thing i noticed u can do it??

To quote a small amount i just delete the bits that i don't want, so long as you have the [quote] bit at either end, you can edit the rest.

As for the multi quote, i've not used it before so not sure sorry!

Yup as kell says, delete the text you dont want, so long as it looks lie this: (without the space)
[quote = "person who wrote it "]text you want to appear [/quote]

As for multi quote: click the button that says 'multi quote' on each post you want to quote - the button will go red...then click the 'post reply' button and it will add in which ever posts you clicked red
