Ha! Caitlin doesnt do that but when she gets something like choccy buttons, an orange, small biscuits etc she has a habit of cramming waaayyy to much in her mouth. She ends up looking like a starved hamster
Caitlin has never been exceptionally hungry. At 6mths she only took 24oz milk max a day (not weaned at all) and I was always shocked at LO's younger than her taking 40 oz +. She rarely finishes meals and only recently has started walking into kitchen saying 'yea, yea!' and pointing at fruit bowl. Though she doesnt ask for it (maybe her speech just isnt there yet) she does get excited if she see's biscuits/choc buttons and will eat them if offered by nana.
If I ask Caitlin does she want lunch/toast/dinner she gets excited & runs to kitchen... maybe im in for a shock when she starts talking/realises she can ask for food!
Caitlin is about 75th centile for weight now, but is long too. Even though she didnt take much milk as a baby, and rarely cried for a btl after about 3mths it certainly didnt affect her weight! Even now I could get her up at 8am and she would happily play for an hr if I let her before she got her brekky. Shows that they all get what they need & they all need dif amounts!
