| So I know there aren't so many of us gainers...but anyway I'll do a thread! I am currently 7st 3lb (although until I had a crappy last week with no sleep (HIS fault for snoring) I was 7st 7lb / 105lb) and my target weight is around 8.5...but this depends how I feel when I get up over 8 stone...I may stop or carry on trying to put on. My target is 1lb per week...and its possible I know it is cos I gained 3lb over the xmas period! My problem is that I can gain weight if I try..BUT I can lose it so easily without even noticing...just by skipping meals (a habit I have got to get rid of) ..so my weight fluctuates up and down...I swear if I didnt keep losing I'd have been my target weight along time ago |

| I have no experience of having to try and gain weight - I do it naturally unfortunately!!! Im guessing the tips for you would be the opposite to what we 'fatties' have to do . Though I dont want to patronise as im sure you know what foods are high fat. Little tips are drink full fat milk, or even semi. Full fat cheese, real butter, creamy sauces. Lots of pasta, breads, snack on crisps, nuts etc.... Could you eat more frequently? Drink glasses of mik between meals? It must be hard though trying to gain weight and still be 'healthy'. It probably easier losing weight and getting the mind set that you are eating proper good food, I cant imagine having to tell yourself eating fatty foods is 'good', though I think I would enjoy it!!! Really hope you reach your goal. x |

| You could be on to something, about avoiding cheese. I should really be sleeping but am watching this on catch up http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ksh7c/10_Things_You_Need_to_Know_About_Losing_Weight/ If you want to skip a bit its 40min in that they discuss eating dairy & fat passing straight through.
Also soups fill you more so try to avoid them. Its quite an interesting documentary applied both ways. |
