invite an ex to your wedding?

I have been thinking about guest lists for my wedding and we have a really great relationship with OHs ex these days and was wondering if we should invite her and her OH to our wedding night do?

We have had them over for dinner and been out for lunches with them too, last weekend we went on a night out with them and had a great time so for me it wouldn't be an issue but what about our families/friends?

As it turns out they can't come anyway because the OHs son gets married the same day as us but just out of interest I was wondering what people think?

If you get on and are friends then why not? It's your wedding, invite whoever you want and stuff what everyone else thinks

we have one of my oh's exs and her husband coming to ours too. and technically 1 of mines, as he married my sister!!

I'd invite them. Some friends of mine had the same issue and both were invited to each of their weddings. I wasn't awkward at all x

My Dad invited my mum to his wedding when he married my step mum - and he had been the one having an affair with my step mum while he was married to my mum

My mum and step dad went away on holiday as it turns out, so didnt come to the wedding (we went on honeymoon with my dad and new step mum).
