Morning,

Can I possibly ask for a thought or prayer for my 7 week old niece who is currently awaiting a bed to become available at Great Ormond Street so she can have open heart surgery.
It has been found she has a rare heart condition called TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries) which means her main arteries are the wrong way round. At the moment she is in Oxford at the John Radcliff where she had a minor operation to fit a baloon and is on a ventilator.

I know I haven't been on much this week but promise I will find the time to catch up

A bed was found not long after I posted and Florence is now in theatre which should take about 5 hrs...fingers crossed

Spoke to my brother last night and all went really well with the surgery, the next 24-36hrs are crucial as to wether the op works but they are very confidant that it will work and they are very happy with the way Florence is coping.
