but yeah anyway, its ok when walking, but when i stand still i get shooting pains down my leg, and also when im driving i get it quite badly, its been happening for about 2/3 months now and starting to cause a few problems, esp at work! does it sound like it?

Could be. I've got it at the mo because of pregnancy and it's so odd sometimes it will be fine then others I stand up and litrally can't move because it sets it off

yeah i got it at moment too and i have pain in my hips and literally cannot walk, very painful, but i'd go to docs anyway, especially if it effecting you work and driving.

i would defo go to the docs to get it checked, i suffered for about 18 months before going to the docs about mine and had physio for 4 months as the pain in my left side and bum was so bad for so long i had started to over compinsate on the other side and became wonkey (sp)! its loads better now though but the physio said if i had gone to the doc sooner i would nt have needed physio, mine was caused by being pregnant too xxxx

I dont know much about it,,but i would recommend the doctors!

i had it when pg, also suffer from trapped nerve in my neck and arm ocasionally that at times has been so bad i couldnt move from the pain. when i had sciatica it was like a sharp pain starting im my bum down the back of my left leg, some days it wasnt too bad then others i could hardley walk
id go to gp, he may be able to refer you for physio xx
