Aww dont worry about it! I posted the same on AB last year. I too have a 3 door car, and though Caitlin always been ave size with short legs I understand the urge to get them forward facing, it is easier to get them in and out.

I had her in the front (no passenger airbag) to make it that little bit easier, so poor OH had to ride about in the back for 9 months lol. x

Like snoops says don't worry about it, it's really bad that the people at halfords told you it was ok. Just glad your sorted now Hun XX
