| I can't keep a hat on ava's head, she pulls them off straightaway, i've been looking for ones that tie under the chin but they all seem to just be in baby size, can anyone recommend somewhere to buy them from. |

| Pinks I have the same problem with ellie. I don't know were you can buy them but you could sew ribbon ties onto a normal hat?!? Ellie has suprised me today by keeping her sunglasses on all day! |

| Have you seen the one Izzy is wearing in Baby Pis? That brand is Lion in the Sun, that 18-18 mth size that she had last year and will fit all this summer still (so next year the age 2 will probably fit lol! It has a soft tie under the chin and once they realise it wont come off they leave it!
Amazon do them http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=lion+in+the+sun+hat&x=0&y=0 |

| I am awaiting my mum's visit on Saturday to tie shoe laces on Wil's hat for this summer.
I just bought him some wrap around sunglasses from Tesco for £2 too since he either takes off his normal ones or pokes himself in the eye with them. |

| Izzy had wrap around and she hated them as she has long eye lashes and they were really close to her eyes.
She has the Beaba ones now, not cheap but toddler proof, the arms bend and she has really bent them lol and they are easy to out on for toddlers too |

| We have solved Wil's hat problem - he will wear it no problem as long as it is on side ways! It is a baseball cap with a long bit on the back so wearing it sideways looks daft but it does the job.
He loves his sunglasses. I got a great picture of him yesterday with his hat and sunglasses on. I will post it up when I can get on the lappy at home rather than my work one. |

| We find that Dylan copies us so if Daddy wears his sun hat he'll wear his. Last year was a pain he kept taking it off, but we kept pointing to Daddy's hat and saying look Daddy is wearing his hat! This year is a completely different, today Dylan ran back in to get his hat (even though there wasa absolutely no sun!) ... he too has a baseball cap and always puts it on backwards, but at least he's wearing one!! We also got him some cheap kiddies sun glasses ... he hated his wrap around ones, so let him chose what he wanted this time. It saves Mummy's sunglasses from getting trashed by his little hands!! |

| My friend sewed elastic into her daughter's hat in the end because she couldn't find one with a chin strap. Unfortunately she twanged it onto her ear which, judging by the tears, was a bit painful. Funny to watch though!! |
