| Am I the only one with a baby who is such a random sleeper. Some nights I don't hear a peep from Lewis and other nights like tonight i have already been in about 4 times to settle him down. I am a bit soft with him tho as will bring him in my room sometimes to calm him or when he's I'll he has slept in my bed. I didn't do any of this with H, once he was in bed he stayed there lol. It ha got worse once he was able to move Round his cot and sit/ stand up, although he is capable of lying down himself as I have seen him do it but he just sits there crying till you go and lie him down again. I don't know what up with him apart from his teeth but he's had calpol tonight so shouldnt be hurting him. He also thinks daytime sleep is for wimps, just cut out his morning nap and I am trying to get him to sleep after dinner but only had an hour today! |

| Ahh bless you, I went through this too, it was exhausting!
I've always maintained that Imogen shouldn't come in bed with us unless she's really poorly but that has meant me spending many an hour in her room unable to get out without waking her and all hell breaking loose!
In the end 2 nights of crying it out did the trick. Can't say it's a perfect night of sleep every night but she is a lot better. Had to wait till she was proper knackered and it only took half an hour each night, it was hard though I had to stay determined.
Last few nights haven't been good because of teething but dummy replacement and ticking in with some hair stroking and shushing she did go back off after a couple of minutes
Hope that's helpful honey xx |

| Thank you. He's asleep at mo but don't know whether he wi L wake again. Oh had to let him cry other night when I was at work as he wouldn't settle in our bed either. I here doing it but it worked with my eldest. I will just have to get tough. He doesn't have a dummy and has his teddy so no idea what's up with him. Hopefully just a phase x |
