| obviously not generally speaking...but i got eli a couple of winter coats in the sales 18-24 months, and was looking at them today and thought hmmm he could wear them now and they would only be a bit big! he is in 9-12 month stuff just now and it fits fine, so hence my question...do babies stop growing at a year?! |

| Erm?? Unless you think Elijah is a hobbit like his namesake then no hun he wont stop growing at 1 year Seriously though - they do slow down a lot and you only have to but new clothes every 6 months instead of 3. Thomas got a winter coat for his 1st bday that said 2 years and although it was obviously a tad big it didn't look silly and it fit him over 2 winters so that was money well spent. Thomas is now in 2-3 clothes and I'm in the process of sorting the woolys from the summer stuff and it feels great that I don't have to ditch them all coz he will still fit in a few towards autumn winter of this year xx |

| They do slow down and even out abit but Sophia is awkward and needs size 2-3 tops and 18-24 month trousers/skirts! And they are often too big round. So glad they do like pregnancy pant for kids, with the moving elastic in them, so so handy!
Got to go get loads of new stuff. Was also thinking about coats, but not sure what size to go for really as she is in 2-3 tops already. Do i go 2-3 and hope she doesnt grow too much or go huge with 3-4?

| I'd really like Jamie to slow down as he is now in 9-12 month clothes. I can't afford to keep buying clothes at this rate |

| Yup they slow down thank god. I used to always have to rush out and get paige bigger clothes. She was a little fatty, so was always in+bigger clothes. But now any thing from next is normally the right size+and any were else it needs to be bigger

Not really. Was 8lb7. He has a long broad body like oh though (his 6ft4) and we only do chubby babies in our family. My nan was showing me the photos yesterday. Everyone's really chubby and then gets really skinny by about 2. |

| next is ginormous on elijah, so im hoping the 12-18 month stuff we have from sales (summer/wintery stuff) will do him for a good few months - we put one of the 12 month t-shirts on him last week cos it was so hot and he looked like pdiddy or something hahaha it was past his elbows and down to his knees |

| Well Libby still has some 9-12 months trousers that fit her but mainly in 12-18, she hasnt actually grown in the last 6 months - even her feet are still a 4 1/2 and have been since September. Although it's good because I havent got to buy new clothes, I tend to get bored of what she wears all the time so end up buying new clothes in the same size xxx |
