but when im relaxing and my eyes are closed i see colours...iv never even though about it its just 'the way thing's are' so to speak, until i heard someone say certain people(well everyone can if they practice) can see coulours when theyre relaxing or when they medetated, which is aparentley your aura your seeing...now this got me very interested and im going to do some googling to see what bright green and darkish purple aura mean as they are the colour i see, although i think iv heard befor green is healing??

do you/are you able to see colours...i swear im not on anything

I see purple and green hun, I have never thought it was weird just thought it was a 'normal' thing? Oo let me know what you find then on aurars (sp)

Im going to sound like a weirdo too but I remember when I was a child I used to see colours as I was falling asleep... id also see/imagine people id never seen before when I closed my eyes. I always put it down to being a child, an imagination type thing.

Be interesting to find out if there's more to it x

omg.. i used to see colours when i went to sleep. kinda the same with people, but used to be people i knew but they would go all weird and like i would see them but like their head would get bigger and bigger and bigger untill it was gone (im a odd ball lol)

hmmm interesting, seems i was right, green is the healing aura, people with green aura's are natural healers

and the purple is the third eye, so are spiritual and show's capibility of psycic power

Interesting what you say about the white flashes as I've been seeing them quite often in this pregnancy and I also believe my granddad comes to visit me in the form of a robin and I've been seeing a robin quite often in this preg too, more often since Drew was born so it's comforting to know my granddad and the angels are keeping an eye on me and Pip and also possibly Drew and MJ xx

WOW, I had to post on this, Iam not here really though!

Recently as you know it was my sisters anniversary, 13 years since she died.

That night as I lay going off to sleep I couldn't sleep for ages because I kept thinking someone was shining a light in my eyes - even though they were closed and the room was dark.

The only way I can describe it is like I was lying on a forest floor looking up to the sky and the sun was glinting through the tops of the trees. At the time I thought I was going mad and my eyes were going to fall out. I honestly kept opening my eyes and looking round the room for what was doing it.

OK so you might think I'm a nutter, I don't usually believe in things like this, I am a little bit sceptical but some things I can't deny...thats made me cry now

hmm i don't see colours, i see words, especially if i am having an inner dialogue with myself i see it like i am reading it from a book.....erm

that's really strange lisa, a nice kind of strange though

well i dont see anything, so must be stressed... will have to tune in a bit more

lol katie, black doesnt really mean anything, some people can just see their aura, some have to meditate to see them and can be hard thing to learn to do aparentley...everyone is capable of it, just some find it easier(btw this is all what iv been told, im not just a raving looney i work with a medium lady who tells me a lot of interesting stuff) x

Where do I start?

This thread is worthy of an essay but at 1.30am and on my phone I will keep most it until a better time and a proper keyboard.

A pure aura is a beautiful sight and a very grey/ black aura causes the hairs on the back of my neck to stand on end.
Your aura is linked to the chakras in your body (more details later) and can tell you a massive amount about your mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health.

Seeing colours is natural and as babies we do it with ease. People who are naturally very visual usually find it easier than those who are auditory or kinaesthetic. Times of heightened emotion can also make colours more easy to see, this possibly explains Lisa's experience. Maybe the white light is always there she just doesn't always see it.

There is a very useful book on this subject entitled Colour your Life by Howard and Dorothy Sun. It explains the meanings of colours and how you can use them to change things in your life. (this recommendation is tinged with sadness because the last person I recommended it to was Awla)

I will post more at a sensible hour if anyone is interested. I use colour, auras and chakras in life coaching so it is a passion of mine
