So! Is anyone doing anything?

My hubby is a republican/miserable bastard so I don't think we're doing anything.

But I can remember Charles and Diana's wedding and my friends dad had a street party and it was great (was 13 and got pissed on port and lemon). I drove past a house yesterday and it was all decorated with union jacks and it just made me think that we should at least make an effort!

So if anyone's having a party.... Can I come?

We should've organised a BANDA party!!!

I'm not sure if we're doing anything tbh. We don't have any friends here and our neighbours aren't the type to have a street party so if we do something it would just be us and the kids which would be bit naff :/

I will defo be watching it though and I might put some union jacks up in the window etc because I do think it's something that should be celebrated.

We are having a street party, we live in a little Close and we always had bbqs growing up so are planning a reunion for the wedding

Debs, our neighbour hood sounds similar to yours, they're just not the street party type of people.

Maybe a mini banda picnic in the park should have been organised.

lol! Up until yesterday I felt the same but today I feel like I'm on the verge of inflicting a BBQ on my poor family - buntins and all

We are going camping so won't be near a tv or street party.

Traffic should be quieter though if so many folks are watching it.

im home alone with the kids.... my oh got offered too many pennies to turn the work down lol

where i grew up we had street parties for events but here hardly anyone speaks so highly doubt a street party will take place ,,, i might watch the wedding just out of curiousity
i seen loads of ppl in tescos yesterday stocking up on royal wedding napkins , paper cups/plates and flags

Doing nothing Pete could of had it off bt he said he would work it and he get to pick another day off much better x

I'll be driving to my mums Friday next week, and braving a 1 hour and 30 min motorway drive on my own with Rowan!

i am going to glasgow for the wkend lol and leaving on the friday so i will sorting evans stuff out for spending the night with gran and grandad and gettin the doc ready to go stay with other family! to be honest i dont care about the wedding and am not a big fan of the royal family although i probably will put it purely to see the dress and what everyone is wearing lol

i'm watching it from start to finish, cant wait, give me time to put feet up, russ and rich will be playing games or in the garden,

or i could be in labour, thats my bet to be honest and no i will not be calling bubs kate or wills lol

when is it?! soon i guess, i expect them upstairs will have some sort of vile raucous party where they sit around talking loudly about decking and cars and waggling their penises around (even the ladies) so we will probably hide indoors or go out for a walk if the weather's nice

cute that i met my hubby at st-andrews too, i notice nobody did a street party or day off for us!!!!!!!!

lol, hubby is having a cricket tournement day and its abig family thing to, hopefully there will be a tele there to watch it on lol.

My friend is having a royal wedding party There's just a few of us going to hers to watch the wedding and then have cucumber sandwiches and cake I'm looking forward to it! xxx
