I've got my scan tomorrow and I'm so scared today, I've got an impending sense of doom about it My sil found out she'd lost her baby at her 12 week scan so I think that makes me more scared. I wish I could be excited about it but I'm terrified and allsorts of things keep going through my head. Is everyone like this? xx

yes yes and yes. I had an early MC before i fell pregnant with little miss now and i was crapping myself. i still feel like something is gonna go wrong but i think its normal.

you'll be fine though hun. will be looking forward to some scan piccies tomorrow

Like Kelly I had a m/c before this little one and i was terrified. I completely detached myself from pregnancy and convinced myself there wasn't going to be a baby/heartbeat at first scan. When the pic came up on scan, Oh and I both 'oh there is a baby!'.

hiya, i also had a mc before bubs and after ttc for along time, i was convinced it was all in my head, we both cried when we saw the scan image.

i actually have a scan tomorrow, i'm book ending my pg, going to see if bubs is heads or tails, i'm hoping heads

I think its totally normal. I was like it and i'd had scans at 6 weeks and 9 weeks because of bleeding and discharge. I'm sure everything will be fine

Totally normal hun! Im only 6 weeks so have another 6-7 weeks to wait for a scan and am crapping myself everyday. Im booking in with dr's tomorrow and the naughty part of me wants to exaggerate cramping/pains to get an early scan at epu in a cpl weeks.

I honestly think you worry more in 2nd/3rd pg's. I do remember being worried with Caitlin but I dont think it entered my head that there would be no baby at 12 weeks. I think I just took it all for granted.

Well there was a baby! I've got to go back in a couple of weeks because they said that they prefer to do all the dating stuff and checks between 12 and 14 weeks and they would prefer me to go back in a couple of weeks when the baby is a bit bigger to make it a bit clearer. They told me that everything looks absolutely fine though so I suppose I just have to be happy I'm getting an extra scan! xx

Well she said that I'm measuring about 11 and a half weeks. Baby was in such an awkward position that she couldn't find it for ages and I was so scared! Me and hubby were getting all upset until she suddenly discovered baby hiding! So she said I'll get a proper date at the next scan because being that bit bigger it won't matter if baby is in such an awkward position, they'll still be able to see everything that they need to xx

Ahhh I bet you were having a right old panic. Glad everything looks good and like you say, you get an extra peek at your little one!
