That the truth comes out when you are drunk?

hmmm yes cos things people are too shy/scared/worried to say usuall come out as they feel like they care less/more confident whatever!

Yes in the respect that you may share secrets/let something slip over a bottle of wine with friends eg 'xxxx is pregnant but dont say anything' or ' I kissed someone behind his back once' etc

But I dont believe everything extremely drunk people say is true. Iv woken up a few times mortified at the crap iv talked. I think feelings can be exagerrated when drunk eg you can go on about how much you HATE/would punch someone when you actually just dislike them a bit. Or you may meet someone new and profess your undying love to them and firmly believe you would marry them in the morning - when in fact you just fancy a bonk

iv shared loads of secrets when drunk as people have done with me so yes, but agree some also talk bullshit when pissed...my cousine is a right liar when drunk x

I guess your right confidence does boost. Nothing bad happened! On Friday while we were out My oh and I were chatting and I've honestly never heard him say so many nice things about me in one day lol!
It was really nice! I asked why he doesn't say these sort of things normally and he said he is shy when it comes to me and always has been.
He also said he really wants us to get married but thar he's scared because of his past relationship and that's why we haven't gone into any significant detail about getting married yet.

I have always noticed that he finds it easier to 'talk' via letter/text/email/notes when it comes to big things, and when we argue it's often over text lol.

I might start a diary type thing with him to help him get things out, good and bad!

Kell, I think the same could be said for lots of men. I think many men struggle to communicate sometimes. I think it's quite sweet that he told you this. xx
