Does anyone else find this depressing?!! I have been today to look for some holiday stuff and also an outfit for the night out and tried on loads of things that looked AWFUL! Also the sizes between shops are so different that in the end i didnt know which size to try.

To top it off i then went trying on bikinis, i am trying (and failing) to think of something that is more soul destroying..... eh?

Anyway i didnt get anything for the night out Sad

Yep me. I've always hated clothes shopping and prefer to buy online. Now we're back from our little break, I'm going on a serious mission to lose weight and get a bit healthier, I've never felt worse about how I look, I seriously look about 5 months pregnant at the moment. Hope you find some clothes soon x

STOP RIGHT THERE....

Now... I found out what the problem was with this the other week when I was trying some bits on...

The shops used to have lovely lighting which made clothes look nice in their changing rooms. The last few changing rooms I have been in and not done anything for the clothes I liked and I looked hideous in everything I tried on.

I know it sounds silly, but im convinced its the changing rooms! (I may well be burying my head in the sand like an ostrich Laughing, but im sure im not).

You should buy the stuff and try it on at home in your own mirror and take it back if its awful.

Arrh hun, i have had a few times were i have gone shopping for an outfit and came back with nothing.
I do, do a lot of online shopping now as i know what my style is and what i think looks nice with the body frame i have.

Think back to a time u had a nice outfit and u felt great in it and find something thats like it.
I find the dresses that go in at the waist and then the skirt bit comes out as it flatters my shape.

I hope u find something. Wat about the bikini shorts (pants) and a bikini top?

i always buy and try on at home, if i relied on changing rooms , i'd never find anything to wear.

Thanks girls, you have all cheered me up and now i know that i look ace in everythign and it is only those pesky changing rooms Very Happy

I did get some more of the ace next jeans in long length and am recommending them to all muffin top ladies!! Also the sizes are big which is always nice

I did get a bikini and its touch and go as to whether it will stay or go back....mind you i had to get a 32H so choices are limited i think Shocked Shocked Dan kindly mentioned that my stomach was a bit fat when i tried it on which really helped Over React
