| teachers, social workers and those type of peeps normally earn around £20,00 to 25,000 first few years, then of course it goes up
admin at work earn around £15,000 to £18,000
unqualified staff earn £18,000 to £20,000
but i dont know about average, not a clue what docs earn or police etc |

| I always thought 25k was about average, though I think for London/the south its prob about 30k. If you work in shop/nursery nurse etc you may only get about 14k.... but then Drs can be on 100k so there is a huge scale and averages dont always mean its what most people earn. Eg 4 people could earn 10k a year, and one could earn 50k a year and if you worked out their average salary it would be 20k a year - which is double what most of them earn.
I think in NI averages are lower, but then so are house prices etc. |

| I'm 23k for 40 hours a week, but work being work and because I work at home two days a week I only get 18k if i got back in 5 days a week i'll get 23k. Not impressed lol.
so at the moment i get £8.65
full 5 days i'd get £11.05 |

| We dont pay for water here, and ave rent prices for a 3 bed is £500 a month. You could buy a 3 bed semi for £125k in my town, and prob for £100k if you moved further out to the country. (even at that the 'country' is only ever about 30 min from a big town. It only takes about 2-3 hrs to drive from one end of NI to the other!)

| I think it depends on the sector and the area, I was on 18k when doing admin full time! My oh is an area manager and gets around 35-40k depending on bonus. But he's changing jobs this week so no idea what he'll be on then!

we dont pay for water here ,,, you can rent a 3 bed from the council/ housing for under 300 an 3 bed semi here is about 100k it amazes me that you can buy a property here that is 3 times the price down south |
