I so do not get enough time to come on here much latley, but omg someone tell me there is an end to the terrible twos, i use to think people where kidding when they mentioned them, not anymore

Oh dear!!!! Im not sure what the terrible twos are ... my dad says I have it all to come!!!

SO far all we have is hissy fits, usually get one a day and it involves her thrashing on the floor and banging her head on something...usually distracted by doing something silly and then she wonders what on earth she was doing on the floor! This happens when she isn't allowed something/womewhere, normally the bathroom or the pantry!

What is Jamie up to?!

What isint he up to more like, he dosent like the word no basically, throws the biggest fits ever when i say no to something i dont give in either so i know its just a matter of time till he accepts it. I cant distract jamie when he does something he shouldnt he knows his own mind. Going out anywhere in his pram is becoming awfull he dosent like to be in there to long and he wont hold our hand walking, his dad nearly lost him in b&q the other day he said jamie wouldnt hold his hand , through the screaming and tantrums he is the sweetest little boy with hollie tho

Izzy used to be naughty and wouldn't hold my hand so I had a harness on her, that way she couldn't escape. I didn't have to use it very much and she is much much better and nearly always comes to me and holds my hand, but I still keep them with me just in case...there are times I just don't feel happy just holding her hand as she could, if she really wanted, pull away from me.

Have you tried a harness on him, or even a wrist strap? (although Izzy wasn't so keen on the wrist strap)

The other things though, I tend to ignore - and just hold out lol Izzy sometimes shouts when in her pushchair, she did it the whole way across the park cos I put her back in to go home...so made mummy look very bad but I just ignored her and then she cheered up when we came across some pigeons on the path!

The harness is also useful if you are worried he might get out of the pushchair straps as you can get ones (clippasafe I have) that have side clips to go on highchairs and pushchairs etc, so if the harness is on right there is pretty much no way they'd squirm out of it.

Maybe I got the terrible twos early and are over them lol

yeah we have harness and a wrist strap as soon as they come out he will sit himself on the floor and not move he is the most stubborn little creature ive ever come across.
They do say girls are more chilled out and are not as bad as boys around the two year mark, well im hoping so anyway with hollie
