Ill never be married Sad just wont get round to it I would love the fairy tale wedding but thats not gonna happen Way too expensive and its hypocritical to want to get married in a church when i believe in evolution Smile well could have a reg office but if its gonna be small i just want it small just me n Dave my mum dad n sis and his mum dad n sisters but then his sisters would have to bring partners and that would mean kids and then drinks/party after then it just starts getting out of hand and just out of all realms of affordability!

Just want to get married y does it have to b such a head stress and not even being planned yet :/

How about using the money to get married abroad then just having a BBQ at home or somesuch when u get back?

I did fairytale but not with the church bit - used a hall instead. Spent a fortune but it was lovely. You can make savings though - so many things you don't really need, you just have not to get carried away xx

(we planned ours in less than a month and not including rings it cost £125 - just book it for next month, tell the people you want and go get it done woman!)

If you just want to get married (to be married and not at all about the wedding) just go nd book in somewhere and do it on your own. If you want your family there tell them they can come but you're not throwing a big party because you can't afford it. Then afterwards either go to the pub for a nice dinner or you and new hubby bugger off into town on the raz!

But if you do want a nice wedding you'll have to save up or make cuts. It doesn't have to be megga expensive. We spent 30k on ours but it was by no means fairytale, we just wasted a lot of money on drinks etc for our guests (oh idea certainly not mine). But I'd have been just has happy in my nightie and wellies in our back garden because it was the marriage that was important and not the wedding xx

Hope you find a way for a perfect wedding

It doesn't have to be expensive. We had 250 guests and still only spent around £6000 (and 900 was my dress).
