doctor mentioned this when i was talking to her...but first have my bloods and swabs, but my mum reckons i will need one as she did when she has similar things to me...iv now been bleeding(light,spotting and heavy on and off) for 4 week's (i think)
she is testing my thyroid levels ect first, but if it comes back normal as well as my swabs im scared i will

Were you pregnant then? I thought d&c were for misscarages?

dont think its just for misscarrages, it says for abnormal bleeding/spotting, and heavy periods too x

In my teens i bleed for 3months, then it would stop then come back and i'd bleed another 3months. I was never given a d&c. I had a scan, thyroid tests, a million blood tests, and they found no reason so i was given pills to stop the bleeding. These didn't work so I went on the contraceptive pill, this worked wonders. I don't know if i was in the same situation but sounds similar. Are you on the pill/would you consider it?

yeah shell thats what i asked for..but she basically said no because that would just cover up a problem instead of fixing it xx

Oh i see. I think for me it actually fixed them problem as I haven't been on the pill for 3years now and regular periods. Maybe she'll let you have the pill if tests come back inconclusive like mine did. good luck, its a really horrible situation, i rememberxx

thanx shell. iv never had regular periods...i just put up with it befor! befor i got pg with ollie i went and he put me on the pill, but never did see if it sorted them cos i got pg as soon as i stopped them lol
iv had scan's befor and my womb looked healthy aparentley lol...suppose if the results come back ok then it probibly will jsut be hormonal so will just ask for the pill
thyroid problems run in the family so thats my main concern atm, but i have no other symptoms so suspect the results will be ok xx
