it does look lovely and of I was very polite and went in and said thank you. but we were going to replace it anyway. he didnt ask no.

I suppose its nice but to be honest they do my head in. a few weeks ago he said to me that he had seen me coming in from work and I had left my car lights on. well for 1 if that was the case my battery would have been dead the next morning. 2. my car beeps if I leave my light on and lock the car. 3. why the *$%£ didnt he come in and tell me??

we cant sit in the garden without his nosey wife coming out and talking a lot of crap and asking loads of questions. she tells us gossip about everybody in the street. who has mice, whos an alco etc etc.

if it was my other neighbour id be away buying her a bunch of flowers to say thanks so I guess your answer is. I should be happy but im not Laughing

haha ours have been 'helpfully' telling us how to sort our (my mothers) fence, straighten the bird house (i told them i thought the birds quite liked it at an angle as its more natural that way Wink) and that if we paid their son he would fix our gatepost!

i get annoyed that you can't sit in the garden without them doing some bizarre amount of diy and repainting this, sawing that, pruning this, prodding that...but at least they are tidy i suppose. i bet we drive them mental Laughing

yeh but if someone wants to keep their garden tidy and have loads of time to be fixing it up then concentrate on that and leave other people alone! I suppose if you have an overgrown manky jungle then it would be a bit of an eyesore but really? what harm is it doing them that a birds house is bent or a lawn is a tiny bit long?

some people have too much time on their hands!
I bet my neighbours know my daily routine better than I do.

They've got to beat our numbers. There's hundreds living there. They have no idea how to use a doorbell and only have one set of keys so whistle until they get dropped down. They also have loud conversations from the upstairs window to the person in the street, somehow manage to park so they take up 3 bays and play music loudly at all hours. Its no wonder we can't sell our flat.
