im so chuffed ive just got my washing line put up agfter ive had my garden done!! (easily pleased) and i hung my washing out today and then got confused about whether i shud be hanging out underwear?? i dunno how i feel about my neighbours checkeing out my under garments!!

so do u hang out ure underwear or dry it inside??

I dry mine inside. If it is a hot day though, I will hang my smalls on the inside of the rotary line so they are hidden behind other stuff xx

I hang all my big items on the line, then all my smalls I put in a clothes horse but have it outside in the bottom part of the garden near the back door. Our washing line is quite close to their garden so they'd get a right view of our smalls. Also, can't be doing with hanging all OH's and Moo's socks on the line...i'd be here forever

noooooo lolm you can see my back garden from the street so no way, i do hang leo's pants on there though...not socks either, too faffy i just shoce them on the horse xx

haha no...not that I care about thm being outside cos no one bar my nan and the miserable git next door would see them ...but I really cant be doing with pegging smalls up!

So I tumble them!

Yes I do, nice ones, raggy ones, sexy ones, huge big ones... I have no shame. I've even hung out my nurses uniform (no I'm not a real nurse).

I would if I had a house with a garden, I'd love to hang my washing outside.
However I live 3 floors up and overlooked by about 200 other flats so I don't want half of Dundee seeing my pants..... plus I'm paranoid that if they fly away they could end up 7 gardens down and I'd need to buzz someones door to get them back!!

Forgot to add, I only hang out the CLEAN ones and not those odd ones you get where there may be a slight crotch skid They go back in for another wash

I dry them inside!!

We have one of those things thats round with all the little pegs on and if I put it right at the beginning of the washing line then no one can see them xx

I put mine on the line, i do hate pegging them all out but most of my nice pants cant be tumble dried xx

In answer to the original question, yes, I put our smalls out, I used to be a bit self conscious but now it doesn't bother me xx

When i lived at home mine use to go missing off the line so i wouldnt put them on the line even now x

yeah I hang everything out, mind you the neighbours would have to be leaning over the fence to see them, and my knickers really aren't that interesting

anyway...i hang out nice knickers...but big bridget jones' ones i hang on the clothes horse in the house...i do like the smell of washing when it's been outside though...it smells fresherer

hahaha no i don't, my hubby does. our upstairs neighbours own the end of the garden (strictly seperate ) and the lady hangs all of her white thongs in perfect little rows, i find it a bit disturbing

omg no, my neighbour is werid...
i have issues hanging out clothes in general with all the insects, so no i dont hang out the smalls, although this is rich new job and i have had to shout when he is hanging out my huge knickers, (comfort is everything right now)

mine go on a drier on the landing

mine go out. but have no neighbours lol never thought about this before!! x

I normally put the clothes on a clothes horse and then pop that in the garden (out of the view of the neighbours, lol).

at our old place, i used to hang every thing up lol. even the 'monthly' pants lol. people had to walk pass it too (we used to live over shops )
