Its robs bday tomorrow and he doesnt want to celebrate it at all. He says it doesnt really mean anything to him, just that he is getting older lol. I love my bday mainly because my mum used to make a fuss of us all when it was our bday and rob said he didnt get that as a kid which I think is sad. What does your bday mean to you? Do you look forward to it or dread it xx

umm i sort of look forward to it and then always be a miserable git on the day because i feel so solemn! i think this year is going to be an absolute horror and i may break my 4+ years of not drinking and comatose myself

I used to love birthdays, but I'm with your OH on this one, its just another year older now. I get more excited about Chloe's birthdays nowadays

It's Rob's on Thursday and he's not bothered about it at all, I'm more excited about it than he is. But then it's mine on Sunday and I'm really looking forward to it too

I love my birthday, I always at least have a meal with my family if nothing else, I like having my own special day (even if I now have to share it with my beautiful niece)

The age thing is just a number, you cant do anything to stop it so you may as well celebrate it!

Mum and dad always made a fuss and still do. They ring me on my birthday to sing happy birthday (full song with 3 cheers)! Gets a bit embarrassing when I'm in work but hey I love it!

I'm looking forward to my birthday this year - we're going on Honeymoon but then again I will be 30 so it's a welcome distraction from the reality that I'm getting old .

In a 'normal' year though I do look forward to my birthday and usualy make sure we do something nice even if it's just a takeaway with OH etc. Paul is like Rob though, he doesn't really care about his birthday and would rather I bought the kids a little treat than get him something he doesn't need. I do make sure I make it special for him though in some way.

i count down to my birthday sometimes from january sometimes just the beginning of march,

but last couple of years the money has been tight and i've not got a lot,

my bro and sil have upset me last couple of years by not visiting on my birthday so i get pressie a week later when we meet up for my dads.
and because within 10days its mine, dads and sil birthdays we always go out for dinner, but its always around their date not mine.

but i LOVE my birthday, always have day off work and always have a drink (well did till this year lol)

It means absolutely nothing to me at all, hasnt done for a few years now really (sound like a right miserable biatch ) xxx

I'm not bothered although partly because I don't like being centre of attention. Its a nice day as Adam always takes it off but thats it

I use to love my birthdays and when it is anyones friends or robs I make a fuss. But my own all changed a few years ago when I was younger something happened with my mum and Iv never looked at my bday the same again as it all comes back I try to get away now for my bday.

well these days, i dont do much, its normally just go to the pub with a few mates or out for a meal. last year i got all upset as i didnt plan any thing for my b'day n i wanted to go oiut n look nice. so bless perry, he got up on the morning of my b'day got my hair dresser to squeeze me in and then got his dad n step mum to take me out.. this year i want to do some thing, but ill be two weeks from my due date x

i like making a fuss for family members birthdays...but im not tooo fussed about my own birthdays!!
