In case you have not seen the other forum funding post can i draw your attention to the donation button at the bottom left of the page.

You will see that Lisa has added a subscription option that lets you set up an automatic payment from paypal of only 50p per month! If everyone did this then we can ensure that the forum keeps going and Lisa does not go grey/bald from the stress. I am sure you will all agree that 50p per month is excellent value for money

I am mentioning this as Lisa is doing a lot of free work already and I know she does not like to ask for donations. I have appointed myself as temporary bossy boots until we get enough to keep going so you best all cough up

I can't remember if I already said this lol...anyway I have used some of the donations to pay to remove all the adverts for 12 months ('all' meaning for those who are signed in and those that aren't, plus the ads for the hosts that was on the footer)

Bearing in mind we have now set up the subs I am wondering if we should remove the affiliate ads on the sidebar - they don't really make much money (£15 I think so far between them all) and they are a little bit annoying.

Would people prefer they were taken off?

ha ha Kate, nice one misssus well ive only used amazon twice but I am mindful to go through banda. maybe put the ads at the top, so they are seen more.

I think this makes it excellent value for money and make so much sense. As soon as Jamie lets me get on the computer rather than my phone i'll set up a monthly subscription
