So in my attempts to find the BEST chat option for us.... I have reverted back to the forum default, which we have never used ... simply becuase it wasn't very good and sat at the bottom of the forum.

However it has recently changed and now you will see, bottom right of your screen, a top left ChatBox button, click it and it pops open, click the Chat Box bit again and it closes. (clicking the slightly larger 'ChatBox will open it in a new browser window)

Now I think its pretty good .. and you smilie lovers will be pleased becuase it has all our usual smilies in it.

I did really like the Toolbar and the Chat it had - but it had its flaws and wasn't accessible to everyone.

So please give this a try and see what you think.

I promise if this works well we won't be changing the chat room again!

A few commands you might find useful in Chat:

/me for example typing /me is hungry would result in the other users seeing Lisa is hungry
/exit will disconnect you from the Chat box, and you can type /exit got to sleep
/abs will show you as away/absent, you can type /abs making a brew

OMG, its fan bloody tastic !!!! Pat on the back for the boss lady, I love it. tbh wasnt really using the toolbar, only the scroll up button x

my connection is really shitty for some reason today so it isnt loading properly, but so far it looks better than the toolbar chat well done again missus!! x

It's great lisa. I eventually found a little chat box which appears on the right hand side when I scroll down. Made up I can join chat

Ya im so glad it works for you Pen, that means it should work for everyone on iphone at least...hopefully on other phones too!

i like it can i just have one little niggle, can we possibly make the message box a bit bigger, you know where you type in to. its only because my hand eye cordination is shocking lol
